(Closed) Fitting time~
WHO: Biffy and Yogi
WHERE: Yogi's place
WHEN: Backdated to 2/1
WHAT: Yogi has a project and Biffy is modeling for him! Time to get those clothes fitted to him.
WARNINGS: Probably nothing more than minor nudity brought on by changing clothes. So no big deal.
Biffy loved to be friends with Yogi. Oh yes it could be tiring sometimes but his friend had a good heart and quite a lot of talent too. It was why he wanted to do what he could to help support that talent. And, since he lacked money to help, he was often the chosen model of the designs Yogi created. Which worked out because Biffy was very good at wearing clothes and very good at making them look good to impress Yogi's professors.
After getting a coffee for Yogi and a tea for himself, he went to where his friend lived and knocked on the door when he arrived, smiling when the door opened for him. He lifted the cup with the coffee.
"Your coffee."

After getting a coffee for Yogi and a tea for himself, he went to where his friend lived and knocked on the door when he arrived, smiling when the door opened for him. He lifted the cup with the coffee.
"Your coffee."

“Thank god!” Yogi took the coffee and a giant gulp with a grateful sigh as he stepped aside to let Biffy in. Yogi himself was dressed in a T-shirt with a bright, cutesy mascot pasted all over it and a pair of gray sweats, his hair kept back with green berets adorned with stars.
“Oh coffee I’ve missed you,” he hugged the cup to his cheek.
no subject
"It really must be broken if you're ready to date your cup of coffee."
no subject
“It’s been horrible,” he wailed, sipping again and shivering as the heat and the caffeine splashed into his belly. “Getting up is such a pain.”
He rubbed at his eyes for emphasis, coming over to inspect Biffy’s coat, fingers running over the stitching.
“But we make a cute couple.”
no subject
"I will admit you are a cute couple."
no subject
To say Yogi was intensely jealous of it was an understatement. He greatly admired Hirata’s work, and if he were less a good friend and good person, he might think of stealing it. He sometimes dreamed about it, but he didn’t tell Biffy that. That was weird.
“Are you doing anything special for Valentine’s?” He asked Biffy, sitting down to savor his coffee, his work hidden in what he called his “work room”, which was really just a second bedroom, for now.
no subject
And he would. Just not what he was expecting to do unfortunately. "Remind me to have you meet him sometime. He's really cute."
no subject
“Id love to meet him,” Yogi bounced in his seat. “If he’s cute maybe he can be a model too...” he mused, draining the last of his coffee and giving the now empty cup a mournful look, as if betrayed.
“I was worried you were trying to keep him a secret. Like maybe you were having an affair!” he teased with a mock gasp and a hand to his lips.
no subject
"See?"
no subject
Yogi took the phone eagerly, peering at the image with a little squint to his eyes. He made a soft humming sound and nodded here and there before handing it back to Biffy.
“He’s gorgeous,” he agreed with a giggle before clapping his hands excitedly. “Oh, I should make you two something that matches, like matching cravats or scarves!”
no subject
"Orion isn't big on anything formal. He mostly wears button downs because he can pop the collar to cover the back of his neck more easily. He has something he wants to hide there that the app gave to him," he explained.
no subject
“A scarf would do that,” Yogi mused. “Or maybe a high-collar sweater.” The gears churned as he thought on how to make a matching pair - not twinned, but matching. “Even something like an ascot...” his fingers twitched, wanting to sketch the ideas.
“You two will look great as sweethearts,” he beamed, popping up. “Ah, but, I did ask you over to try something I already have made.” His smile widened. “If you really like it, you can use it on a date.”
no subject
Obviously he was so ready to be his model for the fitting.
no subject
“Sure, go ahead, and then come into the room so we can get you in the outfit,” he pointed at his workroom before dashing inside.
When Biffy entered, Yogi would be putting several pins into place on the dress form, curtains open to allow in as much natural light as possible. The suit itself was a mix of modern and eclectic. A formal suit it may be, but Yogi has chosen rich green colored fabrics contrasted sharply against white, with contemporary lines and cuts along the jacket and trousers. The lapel and the stripe down the pant leg sported a brocaded checkered pattern, almost invisible in the material, but there as the piece moved.
“Well, what do you think?” He asked, turning the dress form to face Biffy with a nervous pride.
no subject
"You've outdone yourself with this one. Let me get my clothes off and you can help me into it."
Since they were in the privacy of this room and this was essentially a studio, he started to remove his clothes. It was far from embarrassing to be in underwear around a designer, after all.

Yogi blushed gently, always happy to receive Biffy's praise. His friend had excellent taste, and he valued the other's opinions of his work. Especially since Biffy would agree to wear his outfits. Being in sports most of his life and in fashion, people undressing in front of him was nothing new. He went around the outfit, making a few adjustments before opening up some buttons to take the pants off for Biffy to slip into first.
"I want to make a fun sort of evening wear - like you were going to an art gala," he explained. "And you know how I don't like black." It was true. Yogi never met a color he disliked - except black. He avoided it as much as he could in his work except for as an accent here and there.

Biffy looked at him with amusement even as he slipped the pants on. Reaching for the shirt next, he slipped that on so he could make sure it was properly tucked in. Best not make the outfit look sloppy, after all.
no subject
“Don’t jinx me like that, Biffy! You know how i feel about all black!” Yogi whined with a pout at his best friend, coming close to help with the pant tucking.
His hand motions were quick and professional. While he was rather flighty most of the time, when Yogi concentrated he was quick and accurate, unfaltering even. Nimble fingers took pins from the cushion at his wrist, making tiny adjustments to the trousers and then at Biffy’s wrist and shoulders on the shirt.
“Hmm, okay, i think those two are nice. I wanted to keep a slimmer fit but still allow for good movement and breathability,” he explained, taking the jacket from the form and holding it up to Biffy to slide into, cradled ever so gently.
no subject
"Slimmer fits are more in my preference anyway."
To which no one was surprised.
no subject
"It definitely shows off your frame better," Yogi agreed, stepping back to consider his adjustments with the pins. "Can you walk a little for me? I want it to be easy to move in, and then try sitting." He bit at his knuckle, tucking one arm beneath the other, normally bright eyes dark with concentrating as he took in each wrinkle and shift of the fabric.
no subject
All in the effort of giving his friend an idea of anything that might need adjusting. Of course he offered his own opinion as well.
"It moves well and I can have freedom to do what I need to do. Though the pants could probably even be brought in a little bit more. Perhaps only by a centimeter?"
no subject
Having someone who knew what to do made it easier, for sure. As much as Yogi dreamed of seeing his clothes on a runway, he dreamed more of seeing people actually wear and live in them. Runways were fun, but if the person wearing the clothes didn’t like them and wasn’t comfortable, then what was the point?
He watched Biffy carefully, coming closer when Biffy completed the range of movements and pinched the slightest bit of fabric.
“You’re probablg right,” he agreed. “I need to adjust it over the hips too. It bunches in an odd way when you walk.” Little things, the tiny details. He could miss them so often in other things, but not this. Not his joy - or his second outside of gymnastics.
“You don’t think it’s clownish, right?” He asked, touching the lapel with its subtle patterning, backing up to consider the asymmetrical nature of the creation. “The idea is to make this piece and the whole collection an updated black tie, which to me means some color and fun! Especially for men. Its usually so dull otherwise. But I don’t want it to look silly.”
no subject
Biffy held still while Yogi looked over his creation to make whatever adjustments he felt were needed for it. He lifted an arm at one point to admire the material though. It really did feel wonderful on his skin.
"You could create a variety of designs in different colors for this collection, I think."
no subject
Yogi's cheeks actually pinked a little at the praise, a tiny smile on his lips. He pinned a few more places, stepping back again to consider once more.
"Do you want to borrow it for your Valentine's date?" he asked, eyes taking on a little sparkle. Considering Biffy had a new special someone, of course he naturally assumed Biffy would be going on something as important and romantic as a Valentine's date! Duh! (It was one of Yogi's bad habits, in all honesty).
no subject
"I haven't even discussed with him yet what we'll be doing that day. I wonder what he'd want to do..."
no subject
"Well there's always dinner, but maybe you could do something more romantic like a moonlight picnic?" he suggested, getting out his phone and backing up so he could take a few photos of Biffy in the outfit.
