"Sounds like my kind of mission. I'm not one to leave someone behind!" This is a new side to Astin, one that makes them feel alive and energized in a way they haven't before. They're going to help people--regardless of the risk or the potential to lose their own life. Astin scrambles down into the boat along with Peter and fumbles with the engine on the dinghy, then starts to steer the vessel towards the stricken ship. As the close in, Astin shield their eyes from the driving rain and the sea spray, trying to make out if anyone is still on deck.

"I can't see anyone, can you?" Astin is struggling to keep the boat on course, fighting the rudder as the waves and currents threaten to smash them against the very same rocks.
