[ Mao huffs, surprised when Ritsu slumps against him, but why should things be any different now than they would be at home, right? He doesn't jostle his friend off but if Ritsu doesn't keep up once the tour starts, the older boy will find himself being dragged along by the wrist.

That is, until the instruments are brought out. Mao doesn't really know anything about astronomy or navigation but he does know interesting and potentially valuable things when he sees them. The telescope looks the most familiar and the show he makes of checking it out is less feigned than it might seem. ]

You'd never think that just a few pieces of glass could let you see things like this... do you have to have these customized like you would eyeglasses, or can just anybody use them?

[ One of the sailors chuckles and acknowledges that anyone can use it as long as they know how, and Mao nods, turning his enhanced gaze toward the horizon. ]

I wish I had one of these I could practice with but it doesn't seem like anybody here will take our currency.
