Togusa blinks. "Oh. Right. Them. So, half of us got the choice, yes. The other half, that wasn't quite Retrospec's fault, though." Togusa gets on the boat, and he leans against the railing.
"The other half of us got scooped up inside the storm of what they were calling unreality. So did a number of Retrospec employees. We had to help stabilize things on this end so that Retrospec's tech could bring them all back. But a lot of the missions Retrospec sent us on were inside twists of unreality, taking us to places, stabilizing them or retrieving someone, and then returning."
Togusa looks back at Junpei. "There could be literally anything waiting for us inside one of those things."
