WARNINGS: Potential artsy messiness
[ True to his word, Garry packs up some of his own acrylics and brushes as the time of their little rendezvous draws near and makes his way over to the bus station. Crimson Crest is maybe four? Five? Maybe six?? stops away from Birch Hills-- he’s made the same trip so many times and he somehow always loses count. But at least he recognizes the street and knows to get off when he sees it.
He takes another five minutes to buy something for him and Charlotte to snack on from a nearby bakery, before finally walking up to the Sakata’s apartment, ringing the bell and waiting for Charlotte to come open the door.
Hopefully he didn’t keep her waiting for too long? ]

She jumps up from her chair and immediately makes her way to the door when the doorbell rings.
Aaaaand she opens the door, as always, very happy to see Garry! ]

[ She steps out of the way so he can walk inside, she does eye what kind of art supplies he's carrying with much curiosity. ]
Did you get lost? You took a bit longer than I expected, but I have everything in the kitchen -- oh, should I make tea or something?

[ He steps in, takes his shoes off by the entrance because...habit...and walks over to the kitchen area, with Charlotte in tow. He chitchats with her on the way. ]
Oh, sorry, did I keep you waiting? I made a little detour for -- [ And here Garry lifts up the bag of pastries! ] these! So yes, tea would be lovely.
