[ It's 8 in the morning, Joshua takes a deep breath in front of the well-known flower shop. It's not his first time taking up on part-time jobs, but to do one that he has never touched on before? Nerves and excitement, but mostly excitement ー as how he always rolls. Flowers are pretty and he's always wanted to learn more about them, but not until after that one encounter with a lovely young lady called Alice who taught him a lot about flowers in such a short moment that his interest explodes in an unearthly manner (pun unintended). It was like a fated meeting that gave him the inspiration for this step in his life!

So yes, here he is, ready for a new adventure, ready for new encounters. Pushing the door open, he greets in cheerful voice. ]

[ Make sure you're not behind the door, Mikoshiba, he's opening that door with a little too much vigour now. Or hopefully no flower pots??? ...Oops. ]

[Mikoto was still shocked that Joshua wanted a part time job at his shop. It didn't take long for him to accept him, because in his mind; you can never have too many help. Plus Joshua was a businessman, himself. After giving it some thought, he figured that he could help out a lot of ways. Mikoto was still new at being a business owner, he hoped that maybe the older guy had some tips to give to him.

However, maybe he should have reconsidered. Because when Joshua walks in, Mikoto's standing next to the door, tending to one of the flowers in a pot when he's suddenly smacked with the door.]

O-Ouch.... Geez, watch where you are going!

[Mikoto, it was your fault for standing right next the door.

He lets out a sigh and starts rubbing the side of his face.]

Good morning, none the less. You seem really energetic.

[ One thing that Mikoto is wrong about: Joshua isn't a good businessman and will likely NOT give you great tips. Unfortunately, these words won't reach him in time and we can only pray for his business's safety. Surely Mikoto has more sense than that, though, especially when he gets to know Joshua better.

Already Joshua's making a fine first impression. ]

Oh no!! Are you okay?! [ He rushes to Mikoto's 'aid', only to run too fast without being able to brake, nearly running him over if not for the wall. No fallen soldiers, but one possibly flattened Mikoto. ]

I'mー I'm sorryyy!! [ He wails.

Oh, what a perfectly good morning. ]

[Wow then what even are you good for Joshua??? The more time he spends with Joshua, he might start to realize that he's going to need all the prayers that he can get when dealing with ~~Johnny Depp~~ Joshua.

It had only been less than ten minutes and Mikoto was already starting to regret his decision.]

Y-Yeah... I think I'm-- [He didn't want to look like he was in too much pain and look totally uncool in front of his new employee, but when he got ran into, he couldn't hold it in any longer and falls to the floor.

You killed hin Joshua. He's now a Mikoto pancake.]

O-Ouch.... is it... normal to be seeing stars? Because I don't think it is.

[Now he's just laying on the floor. Stop resting on the job, Mikoto!!!]

[ One flattened Mikoto to serve!

Okay but seriously Joshua is very sorry!!! He's gonna scramble and try to scoop you up in his arms, while he gets on his knees. ]

N-No! That's not normal!! Unless you're an astronaut! Or uh, a... Right! NASA! Yeah!! You're not, right, so umー

[ Wait yeah no, this man is a flower shop owner, soー That means he's about to faint?! ]

A-Ambulance?! Shall I call one for you?!

[This was it. This was how Mikoto was eventually going to meet his end.

At the hands of Joshua???

It takes him a few minutes for him to get his brain back down to earth. His head his spinning and when he finally perks back up, he's listening to Joshua talk about Nasa.

H-Huh...?

[He's still a bit dazed but he soon snaps out of it when he realized that he was being held in Joshua's arms. Mikoto pretty much bounces back onto his two feet.]

Calling an ambulance is unnecessary!! I-I'll be fine! It's nothing serious. [A frown begins to form on his lips.] Geez man, you should watch where you are going next time. I didn't expect a door to the face!

[ There's a weak "wah" when Mikoto leaves Joshua's arms bouncing away, but it's all just him being unnecessarily surprised. ]

Thank goodness! I'm glad you're alright! [ Thanks to who... ] I'm really sorry, I didn't expect you to be right behind the doorー Oh right! I'm Joshua Josephs, nice to meet you!! You must be Mikoshiba-san! [ Already weebing. ] What would you like me to do for starters?

[For reals Joshua... you are the cause of this. Even though Mikoto wants to get mad, for some reason, he can't really get angry at him? Or maybe it was because he was already exhausted and the day had just begun.]

It's fine, it's not like I'm seriously in pain. [Okay maybe his back did hurt, but he had to seem calm and collected in front of the new guy!] M-Mikoshiba-san... [Hearing that causes his ego to swell up!! Mikoshiba-san He sounded so cool!!]

Well! The first thing I do when I open up the shop is water the flowers. [He steps to the back for a few moments, and when he comes back, he's holding onto a pink watering can.]

Do you mind doing that for me while I take care of opening the register?

Is that so... [ Oh, that's a relief. What if he has to pay for damages already on his first day of work? Thank goodness the owner seems like a kind and understanding young man. Joshua's glad he decided on this place!

He clenches his fists, readies himself for the first task he's gonna get from the redhead boss! ]

Aye aye, Sir! I will do that!! [ Salute! ] How much do I water them?

[(It's what he does best!!)

Oh man, he was even saluting too? Way to make him feel like the head honcho! Mikoto was maybe starting to grow a liking towards this guy.]

Here, I'll show you!

[He walks over to one of the potted plants with the watering can and carefully starts to pour it directly onto the dirt and the roots.]

You need to make sure that you water the roots. Also, when the water starts to come out from the bottom of the planter, that's when you know you've given them enough water.

[ Mikoshiba's just watering the plants, but why does he look so radiant while doing so? Joshua looks at him in admiration. It's like the light from outside is deflecting off him, blinding the older man in brightness. ]

That's... That's so cool! You're a pro! [ Well, he is the store owner.

After a pause, Joshua scoots closer, whispering with his eyes narrowed: ] Um. Mikoshiba-san, are you an idol?

[He laughs at that, trying to play it off as being modest.

Except it doesn't work that way when you are running your hand through your hair and grinning like an idiot because of the praise, Mikoshiba. smh]

Why thank you. It's only because I've been doing this for so long that I...

[But then Joshua's next compliment causes him to turn completely red.]

An i-idol? No, no I'm definitely not! But uhh... [Oh god. He could never become an idol, but he was still somehow flattered?] I'm really flattered that you would think so!

[ No judgments from Jojo's side, don't worry. He just thinks that you're really cool! Like those Taiwanese drama actors from a decade back. ]

[ What was that again about watering the plants? All forgotten now! ]
