[ January 25 through 30 - OTA ]
How long has it been? How long since he had breathed the outside air, since he had been awake? Since he had called Heine's name and sought to torment him? He honestly can't remember. In fact, he doesn't know what this world is, either. He doesn't remember where he was when he was last awake, but it wasn't this. He knows that much. And yet, he is forever amused by it all. A new world to explore and some new things to do. Namely, new people to destroy.
But the weird thing is, when he's attacking people, his abilities are... limited? No, nonexistant. This is strange. He thought for sure that he could do much more damage than this. But all he's managed is to knock some people unconscious and break a few bones, without the use of additional tools.
Just what the Hell is going on, anyway? Why can't he remember anything? Where is this place?
He'll be damned if he's going to let his time out to play go to waste. He's not going back in without a blood bath, mark his words.
His head tilts when he sees you, though. A devilish grin crossing his features.
"Well, well, I'm itching for something different. Come on, let's play."
Though, almost assuredly, that play has a much more sinister tone to it, not even trying to be hidden. What do you say? Won't you play with him?
[ January 31 - Closed to Kamui and Tatsuma. CW for Blood. ]
Heine may not have any of his former skills, but having access to Orion's street fighting credentials, Dark Heine has managed to manipulate things rather nicely. And, well, if that doesn't satisfy him, then he has the guns for backup.
Yes, he can remember a little bit. Heine had pointed these guns at Lilly. Or, her ghost. It was a little fuzzy, and two different memories seemed to be overlapping between foggy scenery and a desert one. Both with different outcomes, in the end. Between this man named Iwai, or.... a gap in the memory. What happened after the other one? The one in the desert. Was one just an illusion? Had he been asleep for so long that he lost track of the truth?
And now Heine was going by Orion. There's still alot he doesn't understand, alot of time being asleep that he needs to make up for. Just this week hasn't been enough. He needs more information, he needs to get back into the game. And he's not sure how to do it.
For now, though, he seems satisfied to be beating some poor NPC's face bloody while they're unconscious. They're definitely looking on the worse side for wear, and probably need medical attention. The blood spatters litter Dark Heine's hands from the broken nose and bleeding mouth of his victim while Dark Heine wears that ever-sinister grin as evidence that he is enjoying this.
From the looks of it, he has no intention of stopping anytime soon, either.
[ January 31: Aftermath. Closed to Tatsuma. ]
Tatsuma had won the fight against Dark Heine, having knocked him unconscious atop the rooftops. When Orion came to, Tatsuma had briefly discussed the situation - the circumstances of which he had no recollection. Much to his dismay, Tatsuma did not appear to be joking.
Tatsuma also thankfully did not seem to what Orion to be imprisoned for what his darker self had done. After being set on the ground, and an agreement to meet up later, Tatsuma let Orion book it from the scene while calling the authorities needed to get the victims the care they needed.
Orion had taken some time to calm himself, making way to his apartment. Part of him argued internally whether he really should turn himself in. It would be the right thing to do, wouldn't it? It was what he told himself he would do if he turned out to be the murderer of Lilly in this life, isn't it? And yet, now, staring down the circumstances of him actually going to jail, he definitely hesitated on it. From what Tatsuma made it sound like, as much as he could piece together, what attacked the civilians was another side of him.
SHIT!
This is such bad news. He'd gotten steady on his medication. He'd been doing everything right. Why this? Why now?
He needs to talk to Fai. This is serious. This is bad! What is he going to do now?
But first...
First, he needs to know what to tell Fai. He needs to determine everything that happened, or get as much on it as he can.
Oh, man, and what will Biffy think?
No. No. Get the information first. Maybe it was... just some fluke sleepwalking thing. Maybe there's another answer. Please let it be some fluke sleepwalking thing!
After a sufficient amount of time passes, and Orion's had the time to try and keep himself from having a panic attack at the slightest thought, he finally texts Tatsuma to meet him at Denny's and heads that direction. After he puts his gun away. If the cops nab him for any reason, he doesn't need those on him to make it worse.
He runs to Denny's as quick as he can, keeping the hood of his jacket pulled over his head, clearly trying to keep a low profile. When the waiter seats him, he takes the seat that lets him keep an eye on the doors. Mostly to watch for Tatsuma, but also to give him a heads up should any other trouble arise. When he sees Tatsuma, he'll wave at him to come over to the corner booth.

He was just trying to get to the library, and he gets accosted by this guy on the way...]
Sorry, I'm going to have to respectfully decline.
no subject
Because he won't let you have one. He's already charging at Shuji, fist raised, aiming a very hardy punch at Shuji's jaw.
"Come on, keep it interesting!"
no subject
He's quick about grabbing for the book that's sitting in his fanny pack - which is very suddenly not a book, but a giant scythe.
"Sitting down with a good book would be more interesting than this."
Shuji's better prepared this time, gripping his scythe in both hands and watching for where the stranger will attack him from.
no subject
"How do I get something like that? All I have are guns."
Which, a scythe may be no match for a gun. Knives and gun fights and all that. But still. A scythe is pretty badass.
Still, that scythe is enough to keep his distance. For the moment. Not out of fear, but out of curiousity.
"Did you seriously pull that from a book? This is far more interesting than some text on a piece of paper."
no subject
A scythe is definitely less practical than a gun. More than that, Shuji isn't so much interested in winning the fight as not getting shot. And he has no pride that would be wounded by running from a fight.
Which means that if Heine keeps his distance, Shuji is going to back away. He can't bolt for it, because he doesn't dare take his eyes off of Heine long enough to turn around and run. But he can at least put a little more space between them.

Sometime at the beginning probably
He sighed as he shook his head. He'd hate to startle his boyfriend who was so new to how to do relationships properly. Maybe it was too soon to be that greedy.
Of course then he saw the man of his thoughts and he felt himself relax. That was the scent he'd come to associate as safe. Well, until he heard those words and saw the expression. That...wasn't his Orion. Frowning, he tensed and had to grind his teeth to keep from changing. It was then he noticed the sent of other people on Orion's hands. Punches probably. That's what it likely was.
"I'm really not interested. I'd rather speak with Orion."
no subject
"That's no good. Let's play first. You can see that person later."
Of course, he has no intention of letting Biffy go see whoever that is. You can't go anywhere if you're beaten bloody.
"I'm in a good mood, I'll even give you a ten second head start. It'll be like Hide and Seek. Come on, play with me."
no subject
A split personality? He really needed to look into what the symptoms of schizophrenia were. Though he was quite sure that a split personality was not included in that. Biffy sighed and took a small step back. If only because he was sensing that ache that said the miserable change might happen. If it did then he wanted room for it.
"I would suggest backing down now."
no subject
He advances one, and then two, steps forward. He's testing Biffy, checking to see if he does, indeed, plan to fight back.
"It's no fun if it's one-sided. ...Actually, it is still fun. But this would be so much more interesting. Don't you agree?"
He's waiting in anticipation, but it's clear it's taking everything he has to wait and see. Just trying to wait for Biffy's reactions. He's itching so bad to fight. He wants to see what Biffy is capable of, up close and personal.

Maybe, fingers crossed, that man wasn't speaking to him, because the sword is for light and for show; he doesn't know how to use it in any capable manner. But the streets are otherwise deserted.

"Let's see. How long can you pretend I'm not here?" Sinisterly playful is his tone, and he's not ashamed of it.
He's not some kid fear that will go away if you just close your eyes, Minato. In fact, he's still trying to come closer to catch up to you, reaching out to grab your arm. Only reaching out, though. For now. He's testing how skittish Minato is.
no subject
But ignoring and pretending people aren't here? It's something he's been accustomed to all his life. No change in his pace, no change in his breathing. Ears listening as hard as they can for where Heine is in respect to him. Eyes forward, watching the shadows in stark contrast with the light cast by his sword.
no subject
"Let's do something more fun, instead."
He moves to grab Minato's shoulder, and reels back his other fist ready to punch Minato as hard as he can in the face.

[ She quotes him, her tone a little light and airy as she smiles, flashlight in one hand. Even if she doesn't know who this is, there's definitely something sinister about the way he says that single word. But she won't be scared. At least, not visibly. ]
I'm sorry, but I'm really busy, so I have no time to play around with strangers. ☆
no subject
The grin never fades from his face.
"Once we're done, we won't be strangers anymore. Isn't that great?"
And he even heavily implies that he doesn't have any intention of just swapping names.
no subject
[ Her eyes are narrowed and she reaches into her bag already to grab something to protect herself with, but she doesn't take it out just yet. She doesn't know if she'll be able to do anything, but hell if she isn't going to try. ]
So I'll be leaving now. [ And in fact, she turns on her heel to do just that. ]
no subject
And he charges at her, reaching to grab her arm and jerk her back to him.

january 31;
The person who separated from the terrified crowd then was barely an adult, but his sharp blue eyes didn't waver from their target. His arms were crossed over his chest as he "tsk"ed this disgusting behavior.
Kamui Brisby was far from anyone's moral compass. He'd never be the person jumping in to defend others or lecturing them over right and wrong. He'd be just as happy breaking his knuckles in Superman's face as in The Joker's. This was different though. This grinning lunatic was punching out someone who couldn't even feel the pain anymore. There was no sport in something like that, no satisfaction, certainly no fun.
If this guy was that desperate for a fight, he could have just asked. Kamui was always happy to provide.
"How 'bout you try a punching bag that actually punches back?"
no subject
"Oh, good, someone who wants to play. I hope you'll put up more of a fight than he did."
He stretches his shoulders briefly, as if a little stiff from punching in that hunched over position from before for too long a length of time. He's not worried that Kamui might run, like the others. After all, he approached him. So why would he?
But after the brief warmup, he's charging at Kamui with a fist ready.
no subject
"Hmmm~? You sure are cocky. That's usually my job."
While Heine stretched his shoulders, Kamui dug in his heels. He met Heine's eyes just before the guy charged, and he smiled. He threw his own fist forward, intending to counter Heine's first punch with his own. It was time to demonstrate what happened when an unstoppable force met an immovable object.
no subject
"I like it when a dog can do more than bark."
Hopefully this means that Kamui will be a worthy opponent.
Heine spins around and aims a back kick for Kamui's center.

First things first--]
You okay?
[He punched him pretty hard in the gut. It seemed like his only option at the time, but it's sure to leave a nasty bruise at best.]
no subject
.....
Actually, he just sort of figured that they would jump right into the part about what's been going on with him.
Well... no harm in the question, at least?]
Yea, I'm... alright. ...Kinda.
Physically, I'm fine. I can handle a punch. ...I'm more worried about what you were saying on the roof earlier.
no subject
It's... like you were a totally different person.
[Which is probably ironic, given the whole Christmas Eve thing, but this was... different, even from that.]
no subject
...Probably.
Now that this has happened, it raises all of those doubts and questions again. Can't this shit just leave him alone?
Orion gives a heavy sigh.]
Yea, I... I don't remember any of it. So, I don't really know what's going on. I've always had a mental issue. And I kind of... maybe suspected this kind of shit. A little... But... I don't know if I've ever lost time before.
[Orion pulls out his phone, looking at the time on it. Then holds it out to Tatsuma.]
Like... is this actually today? I remember talking to Sakura before, but that... that was a long time ago. In the middle of the month. And then...
[That's right. He was going to see Fai about why his medication was making him nauseous. To see if the dose needed to be adjusted or whatever else needed to be changed. Orion's eyes widen a bit at this revelation.
Shit! When was the last time he took his medication?
And a hand unconsciously covers his stomach, as if expecting to feel nauseous. But he doesn't, not at all.
This is bad.
