WHAT: New Year's not!date, viewing the full moon one last time before darkness swallows the world

[ Minato makes sure to be there at the planetarium half an hour before five, pacing back and forth in front of the building in order to keep warm. He's not the one with the tickets, so that leaves him to look out for either a prosthetic arm, a cute dog, and/or what he told Zack were the most gorgeous eyes in the world if he hadn't spent most of that encounter staring up at the ceiling or down at the floor. Either way, the sun is setting and will soon take its warmth with it, so Minato huddles in on himself, clamping a paper shopping bag in between his arm and side, and prays Natalia remembered to bring Porsche. Also that she remembered to come. ]

The moon was full and the rabbit was still there... The rest of the world looked distorted though.

Distorted how?

[ The world looks distorted? She thinks about the air in that place she arrived with Dozzu. About that little girl vomiting up that other monster and she mutters under her breath, ]

Slugs too, actually.

Sort of like when you're really tired, and everything wavers and blurs. There was blood everywhere... No slugs, though.

No, no, there were giant slugs too. And a metallic looking snake I think?

[ She shakes her head. ]

... Blood everywhere. That's - alarming.

Oh. In your dream? I think it was a bull that I saw. With chains on its wrists.

[ He lifts his hands up and rotates both his wrists demonstratively. Well, it's a bull that stood on its hind legs and is actually a minotaur, but it's close enough to give her a visual. ]

For me... The creatures in that place weren't friendly. Certainly didn't talk, or welcomed us.

... I loved Dozzu. [ She mutters that. And the others, they were... her... allies? friends? No, that doesn't seem right. Brothers in arms, maybe? ]

...Do you want to talk about Dozzu?

[nachetanya]

I don't really know much about them! He's a small dog with a dignified voice... or maybe a little more like a dog-squirrel? His tail is squirrel-like.

[ SHRUG!! ]

I'm sorry you weren't welcome under the moon.

[ Small dogs with curly, poofy tails... The image is cute, even without knowing anything about them. ]

It's fine. I like the moon, even if it turns out to be evil in the end.

The moon being the alien base who'll poke and prod you doesn't make you turn on it?

The... The moon is innocent. It's the aliens inside it that I'd have to deal with.

Oh no, but what about if it has a robot inside of it? Will you adapt?

Yes. I will do my best to befriend all robots, aliens, and rabbits inside the moon.

[ A hand comes off Porsche to reach out and try to take his... to assure him!! how how cool that is!! ]

[ Minato looks down at the hand and almost pulls it away, unused to people trying to hold his hand, because why... ]

I was going to give you a reassuring hand squeeze!

[ And it's even with her right (bio) hand!! ]

Oh... I've never had an reassuring hand squeeze before.

[ He holds his hand out straight, like shaking hands. Go ahead and reassure him. ]

[nachetanya]

[ Pffftttt she snorts out a little giggle but does reach out her hand!! To grab his!! And squeeze it!! See, she believes in you, MBX ]

[ Ohhh, he can really feel the reassurance. Alright, he can reciprocate- he places his other hand over hers so that he's clasping her hand in both of his, and does the squeezing thing. ]

For all of your endeavors. I want to reassure you too.

I remember you probably know my name. So what's yours?

[ this seems like the ideal time to ask. She'll bring in her left (prosthetic) hand into this hand pile too. ]

I probably do. It's Arisato.

[ Where is Porsche... Minato lowers their collective hands down on top of her head to give her a four-handed doggy pat. ]

Just Arisato, like Cher?

[ Hey man, might as well check!!!

But Oh. That's a good idea. Porsche yips some appreciation and makes to lick the bottom most hand. Hey!! ]

Mm. Just Arisato.

[ He has a first name but that's not important, and also shh, Porsche...! He wiggles one of his hands free and reaches into the bag he'd been carrying before, taking out the napkins and unwrapping the dog biscuits. Just simple soft biscuits shaped into a flat cookie. ]

It's carrot, oats, and applesauce, mostly. You can try them too.

[ It's edible? Zack didn't believe him when he said dog biscuits are edible. ]
