[ Elda's been fretting about this all month, and she knows that she's doint no one any favors to be as tense as she feels about all this. Her other son (Toushiro) picking up on the mood has been excited in his own way too, to have Silver as a part of their family again. It's probably why his own sixteenth birthday had happened to be a pretty small affair, largely so that this thing could go off four days later without a hitch.

Goro has volunteered to come over and help her with food. As is, with the only things with taste being carbs, vegetables, and now meat...? Well, there's a missing things and one of them is drinks (which sucks) but she's done her best! She's also decorated the house festively and gotten lights and ... not garland after this month but the point is that the house is done up in such a way that the red lights are complimentary.

Or at least, that's the hope. Anyway, welcome to the Silver not quite surprise party and dinner and Christmas Eve celebration. What's up, Makeshift Family? ]

[Honestly, thank god for the lack of garland? Wesker's avoided having too many troubles with it himself, but he's heard things, and basically just. thank god for the lack of garland, Elda.

That said, though, the decorating is infinitely better than his own attempts at it ("attempts," said as though there was legitimate effort put in outside of ensuring that the entire house is done up in proper Resident Evil villain style to suit his general aesthetic), and Wesker himself is...doing his usual of being probably slightly overdressed for the occasion but at least not quite as much as he usually is. Improvement? Maybe.

...Makeshift Family seems to be doing well enough today, at least on this particular front.]

[That's the icebreaker Silver decides to go with as he takes in the decor and tries not to focus too hard on the fact that it's Christmas Eve (or his birthday.) The more he imagines this is a colder, snowier Thanksgiving, the easier it is.]

It's really nice that we can get together like this again; I really enjoyed Thanksgiving and I'm sure this will be just as fun!
