WHAT: Iwai has a shop to run and things to do. You're invited to come spend time with him.

A. Unstoppable - No Sales

[It seems that there have been a lot of questions lately for the Christmas season when people come in here to shop. This airsoft and paintball shop run by the gruff man always has these questions at this time of year. And the answers are always the same. That's way the window has a clear sign made up now.]

No Discounts
Harass the workers will mean no sale
Pay the price listed

[Yep. Very clear cut. Iwai's not messing around here. And he sure is the one behind the counter flipping through a gun magazine while sucking on a lollipop. Because just because he can't taste it doesn't mean he's going to stop eating sweets.]

B. Shopping - Christmas Presents

[It's been years since he's had to even look at presents and this year suddenly that's a thing. So here he is out shopping to look for things like that and frowning as he does. Real Christmas spirit kind of guy right here. Right now he's stopped in front of a jewelry case and just seems sort of confused? Annoyed? Hard to tell what that frown means.

Mostly he just isn't sure if anything in this case is the right thing for what he wants to get as a present. It's got to be the right one, after all. He may not be much a romantic but he does want to put some effort into this!

Hopefully someone who is more romantic will give him some better ideas on how to deal with this.]

[Kenta has been doing a little shopping himself. He went to order the kimonos for Fai, as well as some new ones for Jirou. He also got things for his housekeeper and hos bodyguards. Normally he wouldn't, but with the whole no communications business, he's wondering if he'll manage to get home for the end of the year. He doesn't really want to go anyway.

He sees a familiar face out of the corner of his eye and gets closer, before realizing what Iwai is looking out.]

Hi. Are you shopping for Fai?

[geckoman]

[He knows that voice. Once upon a time it would have made him tense but back in October they came to some kind of understanding that works for them. So, Iwai stays relaxed as he looks over his shoulder at the guy.]

That obvious, huh?

[He knows it is. He's okay with that.]

Trying to figure out what he'd like.

Kind of.

[After all, why else would Iwai be looking at jewelry?]

I'm sure he'll like anything you decide on as long as it's from you.

[geckoman]

He may like anything I decide on but I still want it to mean something.

[He frowns some because this case just doesn't have anything he wants.]

Kinda thinking of getting something with wings on it...

[How thoughtful. From this you'd never guess Iwai and Fai have only been dating for a few months. Iwai is really hooked.]

Well, he likes clothes for sure... if you were thinking jewelry, I think he'd enjoy something he can wear even at work.

Yeah I know he likes clothes but he's got a lot of those...

What are you getting Jirou?

[He's curious.]

I just ordered him a new kimono.

[And two for Fai but he won't mention this because it's supposed to be a surprise for Iwai as well.]

I'm looking to see if anything else strikes my fancy.

He's got a good look for a kimono.

[Probably would look pretty gorgeous. Too bad he doesn't know where to get something like that here in Recolle or he knows where he'd be going next.]

Hey, you want anything for Christmas, kid?

[Look. He kinda likes Kenta now. Might as well make sure Kenta gets a gift if he wants one. What with this being America and all that.]

He does. That's why I got him his first one.

[But then, the next question comes and Kenta's brain just... goes blank.]

[Derek walks into Iwai's shop and notices the sign in the window.]

Does that also apply to me? You're most loyal customer? I'm going to be needing some ammo by the way.

[geckoman]

[He snorts when he hears Derek's voice.]

You know that don't apply to you. You don't even ask for deals anyway. It's why you get 'em.

[He closes the magazine and turns to face him.]

How much you gonna need?

[blondferret]

[Derek shrugs]

Probably about 2000 count. What colors do you have?

[geckoman]

Got some blue in. Yellow usually shows up better though. Probably recommend that or orange.

[Iwai thinks a moment then nods.]

I've got 'em in the back if you want to see which color you like better.

[blondferret]

[Derek thinks a moment before answering.]

Could I get a mix of blue and orange?

[geckoman]

Yeah. Come on back.

[He nods for him to come to the back of the store with him and he's already getting the boxes he needs when Derek walks in.]

Hey, you got some time to kill today?

[blondferret]

[Derek follows Iwai to the back. He wonders if there are other patrons that get this special privilege.]

Yeah, I've got some time to kill. Why?

[geckoman]

I got some new mods that I put on a couple guns and I wanted to see if you wanted to go to try them out. See if they're any good.

[They are. Iwai knows that. However, even he knows there's a difference between him knowing that and someone who regularly does this hobby using them. Best to get Derek's opinion on them before considering if he wants to sell them to anyone.]

[Orion's been doing his best to keep up with customers and stocking. Granted, this time of year has been busier. And... he has his own thoughts of what he's going to do for this holiday season.

Honestly? He doesn't have a clue. He's at a total loss right now.

But, when the store quiets down for a moment, he glances over his shoulder to make sure no customers are around, to make sure no one needs help. And...

He slips his phone out of his pocket, shooting a quick text to Biffy. No one should notice, right?]

[geckoman]

[No one should. But Iwai sure as hell does. Because it's right there in the middle of Orion supposed to be stocking shelves.

He lifts a brow slowly as he waits a moment.

And then...]

Got a hot date, kid?

[Orion's face goes bright red and he almost drops his phone, fumbling it to keep it from landing on the floor. Jesus Christ, Iwai!]

[Wait...]

[Well this is more interesting than his magazine. Watch him just close that and lean back in his chair to watch Orion.]

Oh yeah?

[So he's got a hot date, huh?]

[Orion's trying so hard to form words, but it's just wordless gawking. Help him.

He's just... going to slide his phone back in his pocket and continue restocking things to distract himself a little.]

.....I met a guy.

[Is he really talking about this? Why is he talking about this?

[He can wait. And he does.

Seems to have been worth it too. Apparently Orion's met a guy and he's definitely got the hots of him.

Iwai smirks a bit. But it's a look of approval for sure.]

Oh yeah? How long has this been going on?

I kind of.... met him in October. And we've been going on dates since...

[He thinks for a moment.]

....The actual beginning of November.

[It feels like so much longer, though. How has it been only a little over a month?]
