I don't actually know what sort of setup I was working with when all of that started; I did business with plenty of powerful individuals, but most of my work seems to have been done alone.

...I don't know. I believe so - part of what was done to him involved experimental viruses, and both his health and vision seem to have both declined sharply in the later memories that I have, so it stands to reason that he wasn't particularly well.
