After their conversation over in Retrospec, Augustine didn't waste any time to get through his day by volunteering at the shelter as always. Once that was done, it was time to meet up with May.

Dressed in his black jacket, blue polo shirt, black slacks, and black leather shoes, he drove to the central area of Tisse. In his honesty, he hasn't told May to dress fancy or anything, yet he was a little worried at her attire for this. They are going to a restaurant after all and he wanted to let her see something beautiful. Still, he can't change her for who she was and it was only the matter of time to support her along the way.

At this point, all he has to do is to wait and hoped for the best.

Fortunately for Augustine, May got the impression from their conversation she'd need something nicer, and while her actual dress sunk to the bottom of the bay with the rest of the Mayship, she managed to, uh... "obtain" one from another source, and thankfully it fit in all the right places. It wasn't anything particularly stunning, she thought. Just a simple black dress and leggings. See? She could clean up nice!

She still had to ride the bus to get there, but hey. Small victories. She arrived at her bus stop on time and walked her way to where she was meeting Augustine, greeting him with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey there, handsome~"

A surprise kiss and hug wasn't enough to shock him. In fact, the only thing that made him shock is seeing May's surprisingly beautiful dress and her cleaned appearance.

"Why, Bonjour, May. You look very lovely tonight."

Augustine then escorts her to the front seat of his car before going to the driver seat to start the car and drive to their destination.

May wasn't nearly as anxious about being in such a nice car, any longer, either. She'd gotten used to how different her and Augustine's classes were by now, and decided to just go with the flow of things instead of letting it bother her.

"So just where are we headed tonight, huh?"

"It's a restaurant called 'Snowflake Shower'. They are having a special early Thanksgiving promo and they have a special presentation along with the nearby mall. I was hoping you may able to witness it before the holidays."

[me_matey]

"Snowflake Shower? That's a hell of a name," she mused to herself. Mostly because she had no idea what it was supposed to mean, or what sort of food they had there. Except maybe shaved ice? But they were both dressed a bit too nicely for shaved ice.

"Well, I think it's named like that because the owner originally came from Greenland and he was a painter that originally has a painting with the same name."

While he didn't see the painting in real life, he did know about it as well a low-resolution picture of it.

"That stuff is kind of beyond me," May shrugged. She absolutely named her own ship the Mayship, so her naming sense was hardly anything to compare to.

"Either way, you will going to love the interior of it. I hear it's a mix of aquatic and cold atmosphere."

Speaking of which, he found himself in front of the said restaurant as he parked his car at the parking lot before he helped May out of his car.

"Here we are. I already reserved our seats, but I suggest we should hurry."

"You're so excited," May giggled. "It's cute."

She kept a good pace, then, hand in hand with him as they approached the venue. Aquatic, huh... he really did know her tastes.

When they entered the establishment, they can see a iceberg-like background completely with an aquarium connected into a wall, a table that was patterned like an igloo, as well with coral chairs with a snowflake at the back.

"Well, looks like it's a full house for tonight. Don't you think so, May?"

Once he meets the head waiter, he lead them to their reserved table, which was near a window and the aquarium wall.

"This place is boppin'," May was in awe, looking with childlike wonder. Augustine always did manage to knock it out of the park, and this was no exception. She was practically bouncing as they got to their table, easily distracted by some curious angel fish on the other side.

Once he sat down right on the left side of the table, he smiled at May before he started to speak once more. "To be honest, it was really hard for me to reserve a table for two. Thankfully, I managed to get one after a few tries. It was worth it, though."

As he said this, a goldfish in the aquarium approached the professor before he noticed it.

"Must be a hot date spot... Also, looks like you've got a friend," May giggled, pointing out the goldfish.

Might be another reason why, but all he can be sure about it was it was really popular this Thanksgiving.

"I see it wants to join us for dinner," he said as he tapped the glass gently, not wanting to scare the goldfish away. "And I don't mean the other way if you know what I mean."

"Speakin' of, I should take a look at the menu," May settled back into her own seat, bracing herself for no doubt how pricey the food was going to end up being. At a place like this, she was expecting thirty dollar entress, at the cheapest.

From the menu, most of them are seafood-based, but some have fried chicken and beef soup, some salads, and a seafood pasta. Thankfully, the pasta and some of its meals are enough for May and Augustine's budget. Still, he felt he would like to know what she wants before looking at his own menu.

"So, anything you're interested in?"

"Oooh, lobster linguini, that sounds hella nice," and wasn't nearly as expensive as some of the other stuff. That and it would be filling, and possible produce left-overs! Two meals for the price of none, always a good deal.

"Lobster linguini, eh? It sounds very appetizing." That sentence may be an understatement due to its status as a 5-star restaurant. "How about we can go them along with mini crab rolls as appetizers?"

"Hey, it's your wallet, right?" May giggled, not minding the suggestion at all. The more food she could manage to get out of this place, the better.

"Good point."

He then called a nearby waiter, which he told him of their desired orders. As he did so, he then turned to May once more and asks, "Do you prefer wine or something you like?"

"Eh, I'm not a wine kinda person. But I'll take whatever beer they think goes best with my order," hell she wasn't even much of a beer person. She was more of a rum and coke person, but that probably wasn't appropriate to order, if they even had it.

Well, this was a problem. While he preferred wine, he tends to drink less alcohol and beer was no exception. In fact, he can’t even deal the strong taste of it just like how he almost fainted after tasting it.

“Would a soda be a good alternative for both of us? I don’t think I can able to endure its taste.” He said this without offending her.

"Soda's never a bad idea. Make mine a coke!" May giggled. It's not like they needed a hard drink that badly, right? Plus soda was generally cheaper.

Following her request, he asked two glasses of coke to the waiter, leaving the two alone once more as they wait for their dinner. "Not what drink I can expect for our date, but at least it's enough."
