WHO: mimori and potentially you
WHERE: various locations!
WHEN: throughout the month
WHAT: mostly mimori trying to figure out how being a magical girl works.
WARNINGS: none for now!
a. saturday 11th, tisse
[ early saturday morning, if you're wandering around tisse, you might spot a young girl in a wheelchair on the sidewalk near a traffic light. she seems to be waiting for the light to signal for it to be okay for her to cross the street.
granted, mimori is paying more attention to her phone than traffic light. she's staring extremely intently at it. kids these days and their technology, right? nothing really seems to be out of the ordinary, until she taps something on her screen and... there is a flash of light, and she is suddenly wearing some weird outfit. even more, the wheelchair is gone? is she standing? no, on closer inspection, it seems like those four weird long ribbons are standing for her, her feet danging a few inches above the ground.
if you're surprised, mimori looks downright shocked. she even drops her phone. ]
Oh!
b. throughout the month, anywhere
[ so, if you're not there for when mimori first discovers she is a magical girl, you can probably spot her various other times throughout november!
if it's closer to the 11th, you'll probably see mimori more hesitant regarding this. she's moving more slowly as the long ribbons walk for her, and she's clutching onto her (now cracked) phone pretty tightly. it's almost like she suddenly expects the transformation to suddenly stop on its own or something.
if you see her a little later into the month though, she isn't as slow or careful. in fact, she's moving a lot faster, and is even jumping pretty high into the air before safely landing! although, every now and then, she might crash into a wall or onto the sidewalk, like she misjudged the leaps? it's fine though, she doesn't really seem that injured. ]
c. wildcard
[ if you want to do something other than any of these with mimori, go ahead! if you wanna plot something out you can reach me at
gatcha!! ]

He has absolutely no idea what happened, and by Mimori's reaction, neither does she, but he's fairly certain people who sit in a wheelchair need to sit in a wheelchair, so he quickly steps forward in case she's only standing on the merit of her knees locking in surprise and is about to fall over at any moment. ]
no subject
despite this, mimori still seems panicked. ]
What's going on? Where did my chair go?
[ in case... minato saw where it went off to... or something. ]
no subject
Want to sit down somewhere?
[ He offers an elbow instead of an arm, because that's all he can offer with his hands still in his jacket pockets, not noticing the ribbons at all because who would connect them to being able to stand? ]

b - 11th
Slowly, Bruno approaches Mimori, even if he doesn't quite know how to broach the subject.]
Are you all right, Mimori?
no subject
[ wait. where's her phone. she looks around, before glancing at the ground and. welp. ]
no subject
You may want to consider getting it fixed.

b, a little more into the month
The first thing she wonders is if Mimori is cold in that outfit. ]
Ah, jeez... You might make a dent in the concrete at this rate!
no subject
The plan is to make less dents.
no subject
Are you... some kind of superhero?
[ She stares at her costume, which is interesting enough on its own. Manon looks genuinely intrigued by it all. ]

May is barely able to stop herself, grabbing tightly to the other girl despite barely knowing what was going on or who it was. Thankfully, the fence seemed to hold up, but she could look over her shoulder and see a truck zoom by fast enough to stir up her hair violently. Too close...-
Holy crap... Hey, are you okay there?
no subject
I-- I'm so sorry! I should have been more careful.

But, when she sees a girl around her age having ribbons walking for her and the hesitant look on her face, she can't turn away. She approaches the girl, a cautious hand overs near the floating girl's arm.]
Hey... are you okay?
no subject
Yes, sorry. I'm just... trying to get used to this.
[ she looks downwards at the... everything... ]
no subject
How do you do that? I mean, you're walking with those ribbons, is it some kind of magic?

It's a combination of instinct and quick thinking that has him step forward, snatching her phone out of the air before it hits the ground. He'd move to catch her too, but... she's standing now? Kind of.]
This isn't another dream, is it.
[It's phrased as more of a statement than a question.]
no subject
[ it's mumbled, mostly since she's still in shock. it takes another moment for her to even place ryousuke. she'd assume this was the older brother of the boy she saw before, but it's kind of hard to be sure of those things these days. ]
How am I doing this?
b
A rustle of leaves up ahead draws his attention from his work, followed by the abrupt and sudden arrival of a person in white touching down in front of his bench. It takes him a moment, enough time for said person to leap away again, to register just who that was, the shock of it scrambling his brain.]
... Mimori?
[The face certainly looked the same, along with the hair-- but how in the world was she doing that when she didn't have use of her legs?
... no. Just no. He was not dealing with this today.
Quietly, he packs up his books in his bags, preparing himself to leave. He was going to find another spot to study in, and pretend he didn't see anything. He had way too much on his plate for any more nonsense this city wanted to throw at him.]
no subject
Hello! [ it's said with a wave. she may be still confused over what all of this is about, but it's always nice to see a familiar face.
even one that is clearly trying to make a getaway right now.
still, she'll return to where he is, stopping right in front of him. ]
I didn't see you there.
no subject
Ugggh, she really was the worst.]
Well, you seemed to be preoccupied with other things.
[Pencils mostly in hand, he chances a glance up, getting a better look at the girl in front of him in case his eyes may have been playing tricks on him earlier.
... nope. She was definitely standing in front of him, on her own two feet, as improbable as it could be.]
... how in the world are you even DOING that? I mean, your legs, you were-- [--crippled, but he stops himself short. How he felt about Mimori aside, even he knew it was an unsensitive thing to say to her.]
And what's with that outfit, anyway? Aren't you cold?

Something might have gone wrong. That flower app has taken another level in weirdness. ]
Uwah-!
[ Yeah, now he regrets being impatient and asking her to show it to him while they waited for the light to change. The flash of light and what looked a tornado of flower petals honestly has Yanagi draw back out of reflex, but he shakes it off because that came from her phone, is Mimori okay from being so close to it. ]
Mimori...? Um, let me... get that for you.
[ Those sure are ribbon appendages holding up Mimori instead of her wheelchair. He does pick up her phone though like mentioned because she's now standing, just clicking his tongue disappointedly at its state before handing it back to her. One wonders how often Retrospec is indirectly responsible for phone damage. Just because it's the vessel of weird apps.
Also... she's taller than him. She always was minus the inches she's up in the air, but now it's kind of obvious. ]
It's working still, but the screen's pretty cracked. Are you okay though?
no subject
but there are more important matters going on right now, primarily the part where what the flying shit just happened ]
What am I wearing? And how am I-- [ standing.
on closer inspection, she's not the one actually standing, it's the... ribbons? just as she's thinking she wants to get a closer look at them, they bend downwards, allowing her a clearer view. mimori also lets out a surprised squeak at the movement. ]
What's going on?!
no subject
Uh... It's pretty? Like a cosplay...
[ He would respond if it wasn't Mimori something like, "How would I know!?" but that's not productive. Instead, the light finally changes, and he has to ask, because she kind of has... feet now? Also her wheelchair is kind of gone. ]
Mimori, can you move? Or do you think you can...
