[ Chiyo would've posted on social media, including Retrospec, but I only wanted to do one post, so please pretend she made this post about wanting models for Art Club earlier this month.

However, for maximum recruitment possibility, she's also going around in person to ask anyone who looks approachable if they'd consider helping her out. She'll also be posting flyers around the school and outside of school with the request.

Maybe you'll catch her doing just that.

She's trying to put up a flyer, but it looks crooked. She tries fixing it, but it's still not straight. She tilts her head to the side. ]

[ She doesn't usually have trouble leveling or making things straight. ]

b-1. art club

[ Are you kind enough to answer her call? For anyone that responded, she would've given the time and place the Art Club usually meets. As promised, there are a ton of costumes hung up on racks for people to try on and model if they want.

Time to strut your stuff. Show us your blue steel. Strike a pose. Can you smize?

[ Another day, Chiyo must still be feeling the effects of sleep deprivation from October still because it looks like she grabbed the wrong tote of costumes from the Drama Club. She's horrified, completely mortified. Her face says the world is ending. ]

Oh, no. Oh, no no no. I'm so sorry.... and you came here all this way... I'm soooo sorry!!!

[ In the open tote are only school girl uniforms. Sailor uniforms.

Regardless of gender, the npc Art Club members look like they want you to try them on anyway. Will you? ]

c. sweet stems

[ After the 10th when all the flower shops become one, Chiyo can be found in the pink apron. She's trying to wrap her mind around it and what this means for Mikoto and his famiy and Elizabeth's uncle, but there's nothing she can do about it, right?

She tries to distract herself from those serious thoughts, so if anyone comes in for flowers in general or to visit, they'll find her busy working, making pretty bouquets or flower arrangements or making various crafts like phone cases. She's so engrossed in her work that she doesn't look up and greet anyone if someone comes in, which is a bit odd for her. ]

hi, everyone!

the art club is looking for models for our activities this month! if you have some free time, about an hour or so, we would really appreciate your help! you don't need to wear anything special and it's not nude modeling or anything so please don't worry about that!

but if you want to wear something different or special you can bring your own outfit and i'll be asking the drama club to let us borrow some of their costumes too!

we want to practice drawing poses and clothes!

we won't be able to pay anyone unfortunately sorry! but if you have anything you want drawn i'll be happy to try drawing it for you! it can be anything from memories or anything you want in general. (i can't do buildings at all so you'd have to ask someone else for that. i'm very sorry!)

[When Chiyo had sent out that post, Ryousuke had been... surprisingly agreeable. Being the kind of individual he is, it's nigh impossible to organise something "fun" without at least two weeks notice, no room left in his schedule besides school and baseball practice. If something's got to be done, it's handed in three days advance so maybe he'll allow himself some actual downtime, but by then he's already looking to the next assignment or the upcoming game.

Occasionally he'd visit his old school to observe his little brother's practice, or visit Eijun and Chiyo at the Romance Literature Club, but even those appearances have dwindled since the approach of finals.

And yet, somehow he's found the time to be here. For some highschool art club.

Ryousuke's fine with letting Chiyo take the reins, arranging the costumes or set up as she likes. Right now he's just standing idle as Chiyo looks like she's having a world-ending crisis. What's with all this flustering? He doesn't particularly like to be kept waiting.]

What's wrong?

[ It's a thousand times worse because it's Ryousuke. Ryousuke, who's capable and composed, structured and strict, menacing and absolutely someone she'd hate to disappoint and waste the time of.

It makes her even more flustered. She stammers and drops the lid of the container right on top of the offending outfits. ]

A-Ah... U-Um... th-there's been a small mistake. [ Lying to Ryousuke is futile, but an understatement is okay. ] I, um, grabbed.... the wrong tote....

[ Her laughter is very nervous. ]

[ A DATE AT THE WAFFLE HOUSE! ... is what Daisuke would have called it, but honestly, just hanging out is more than enough for him. He feels like he hasn't hung out with Chiyo lately, barring art club, but that feels limited sometimes. Nevertheless, he wants to enjoy his time with her.

Which is why he came a little too early at the waffle house near the mysterious blue mailbox, because all things considered, he's still feeling a little excited.

Even if Wiz is just kinda hanging out in his messenger bag, but. ]

[ Chiyo is a punctual girl, so at least Daisuke won't be waiting for too long. She waves when she sees him, but then she also sees his new companion. Her eyes light up.

She runs up to Daisuke, partly to greet him but mostly to get a better look at Wiz. ]

Daisuke, hi, who's this? He's so cute...

[ She coos the word cute, and she hovers like she wants to pet Wiz but isn't sure if she can. What girl can resist a soft and fluffy animal? Not this one. ]

[ Honestly, Daisuke can't let Chiyo do all the work, so he's about to go ask her to help out. He doesn't want to interrupt her when she's putting up the flyer, but something seems wrong... It's then when he walks up to her, careful not to startle her by not being too quiet as he approaches. ]

Is something wrong? You've been working on this one for a while...

[ She turns around, and she smiles at him. She brushes her bangs out of her eyes and then combs her fingers through them like that'll help her solve her problem. ]

Yeah. It just doesn't look straight to me. It goes lopsided no matter how I try to fix it. [ She waves at the flyer she's just put up. ] What do you think?

[So Chiyo is Shuji's friend, and he's happy to help her with anything. Besides which, being asked to model flatters him, even if she did ask... literally everyone on Retrospec. Still!

Shuji is feeling good about helping Chiyo out riiiight until he sees what he's supposed to try on. Then his face goes bright red.]

Um, well... I'm not sure if those will even fit me...?

[He is 5'9", even if he's lanky.]

[ Chiyo's face is a similar shade of red, only she's covering it with her hands because she's so embarrassed. This is a big mistake. A huge embarrassing mistake. ]

I-I don't... You don't have to... I'll see if I can get some more costumes?

[ Except immediately after she says that, one of her fellow club members pipes up with a shit-eating grin: "No! No, try it on. You'll never know unless you try~" ]

[ hinata was coming in to get flowers for his mom or sister or something maybe, or just to say HELLO!!!!!! to chiyo because he's a ridiculously exuberant friend and likes to say hi to his friends always.

but when he spots the phone cases he doesn't even bother to say hello, he just bounces up to the counter beaming. ]

Wow~! Those are super cute, Chiyo-Chiyo. Are you selling them??

Wah!

[ Her hands fly up in surprise, and so does the case she's working on. Chiyo frets and her hands go all over the place as she tries to grab it out of the air. There's a huge sigh of relief when she catches it right before it crash lands onto the counter.

She smiles. His vibrancy is infectious. ]

Hi, Hinata. Thank you! That's the plan, but I want to make a few more before I do. To make sure I can consistently make decent ones, you know? I gotta work out the kinks so I don't sell broken products.

[ look dave is going to bring the MOST IMPORTANT model, and that is mewpac macklemeow, the cutest mutant cat ever, whom he carries in cradled in his arms. she is purring. why is he bringing chiyo a cat. ]

Chiyo accepts all cats, anytime anywhere. Cute animals make the world go round. Her hand goes to her mouth because any cat purring is the cutest cat. Chiyo's charmed. ]

[ as a fellow club member--of the romance book club, not the art club, but eijun's not fussy on details--there's no way he was going to let chiyo not have enough volunteers for her club! so, upon seeing the retrospec post, he's one of the first people to the club, and he skids in still in his tracksuit from the weight room. ]

Chiyo-chan!! [ bright, energetic, he bounds over to her, completely ignorant of the world ending look on her face.. or the excited npcs.

he blinks, actually fully stopping to look at her and tilting his head. ] What--is everything okay? Did something happen!?

[ he's unaware of his skirty fate ]

Ei-Eijun...

[ She sounds despondent, desolate, and very apologetic. She looks down at what's in store for Eijun's immediate future and picks up a sailor uniform. ]

This is what the Drama Club gave us for our figure drawing....

[ She's so, so sorry.

The other Art Club members don't look one bit sorry. ]

[Bruno has so far been unaware of the flyers going up, but when he sees Chiyo and her mild distress:]

[ That's an automatic response, and immediately after Chiyo says that, she looks sheepish. She turns to face Bruno with an apologetic look. ]

Sorry, I'm fine. It's not the biggest deal, but maybe I can get your opinion? That doesn't look straight, right?

[ She points to the flyer she just put up. It's a centimeter slanted too far down on the left. ]

[ Mao knew Chiyo would be fully prepared with plenty of costumes, but he's also looking for a way to get more used to some things in his own life, so he's brought his own costume along. He wasn't really prepared for the art club to be as big as it is, but he only pauses for a moment when he hits the door, dressed in head to toe red plaid. Hopefully anybody sketching in color brought enough shares to balance out the outfit versus his hair. ]

Hey... is this outfit OK? I can change...

[ Chiyo beams at him from where she's seated with a sketchbook. She waves at him to come in. ]

Yeah, of course! There aren't any outfit requirements! We'd let people keep to their normal clothes if they felt too uncomfortable. [ The looks of her fellow club members behind her say otherwise. ]

But Mao! You wore it! Do you feel like an idol?

[She loves the idea of modeling, it sounds exciting! She doesn't hesitate to jump to the call when Chiyo posted the offer. She doesn't draw nor she does entirely get the exercise of model studying, she's having fun wearing scarves and long dresses.]

Not at all! I'm doing okay.

[Nah, she's a little wobbly but having a good time.]

[ Chiyo sees her being a little wobbly and smiles. She's glad Juri is having fun, but she doesn't want to tire the younger girl out. ]

Hmm... but what if I need a break? Will you take a break with me? We can have a small snack and some juice.

[When Chiyo needs help with something, there's no way Li-Na will say no. Besides, how often does the art club get to pose someone as flexible as Li-Na?

She's wearing her dance leotard, a short skirt, tights, and toe shoes (though she's not posing en pointe). This is actually good practice for her too, as her expressiveness is one of the things she knows she needs to work on.

When Chiyo offers a break, Li-Na gladly accepts.]

Just for a few minutes.

[As she steps off the platform, she fans herself with one hand.]

Gosh, that is a lot of work.

Hehe, you never know how hard it is to not move until you have to do it. It takes a lot of concentration, but you did great!

[ Chiyo grabs an unopened water bottle and offers it to Li-Na. ]

Do you want some water? Or anything else? I can grab it for you.

[He was honestly hoping to sneak in and sneak out because it was embarrassing. It was embarrassing that he had become so distracted last week that he had walked out of Sweet Stems with one of their aprons while hanging around the shop and he only discovered he had it while looking for something else. Either way, when John enters the shop he's surprised to see Chiyo there instead and he grins a little, watching her work before carefully approaching the counter to see what she's working on.]

Still quiet here, I see.

[admiringly]

[ Chiyo's hands still, and she's proud of herself for not throwing anything in surprise herself. She sets the case she's working on down before she looks up at John with a smile. ]

Hey! Yeah, I ran out of little upkeep things to do and there hasn't been a customer for the past half hour or so. What's up? How can I help you?

[ Since she's still working. ]

[When Kuramochi agreed to model he didn't think he would have to hold the poses for so long. They were telling him to move in certain degrees or in certain ways that he nearly didn't keep up, but he did cause he doesn't want to let Chiyo down! He does have a lot more respect for art models now though. After holding the last pose, he nods over at her.]

Yeah a break doesn't sound bad.

Come sit down! The others can touch up their sketches in the meantime.

[ She waves at the empty seat next to her and then at the table next to her, which has water and other bottled drinks on it. ]

[Out in the city, Officer Hoboken notices a woman fussing over wall. His eyes unavoidably go to the paper in her hands, and then the asymmetry. It nags him. His neatness extends to all in his beloved city of Recolle, if he's in the position to help it like now.

He's a tall man, he can reach out and touch the poster from behind Chiyo, his fingers only hesitating so he can ask.]

May I help you with that, young lady?

[ Chiyo doesn't hear him approach because her attention is too focused on how the flyer isn't properly aligned. She jumps a little when he speaks. ]

Wah! Uh, hello, sir. Yes, please go ahead. It's been bothering me, but I can't just seem to get it right.
