[It's a nice and calm day when John strolls into Catmosphere. It's a Tuesday and he's kind of exhausted but he's in high enough spirits as he enters the café with Mewpac tucked into the neck of his hoodie. She's not nearly as happy as she would be with her favorite dad, but she's purring and calm nevertheless.
The theme of the place for the month is a little startling but you know. This whole city's startling by now and so it gets brushed off before he settles at a table by himself. He's already back to work not long after, taking out a composition book to write in and using his left hand to pet the kitten who has moved into his lap.
