[Haru was nervous as she swiped along her phone, reading the group chat over and over. It was a big moment for Yosuke, coming out like that. It gave Haru some courage, but that didn't mean she was about to announce to the world where her own preferences lie. Not when she wasn't totally sure, not when she was still scared of the outcome. No matter how open and accepting Recolle was, there was still expectations that Haru felt she had to fulfill.

Maybe Yosuke felt the same way, and that's why telling everyone was so difficult. If he could tell everyone, though, then Haru could too; or, at least, to a few other people. There were a close handful who knew, but still others who didn't. Might as well start with the boy who unknowingly guided her along that path.

She lets out a nervous breath while she waits for him. As she does, one of the cats gets up on the table with her, and Haru strokes her hands through the fur gratefully. It's one of the reasons she chose this place in particular; she likes having something to do with her hands when she's nervous, and petting a cat was perfect for it. Therapeutic for both her and the cats.

Still, hopefully he won't take long to get here. Haru keeps feeling more nervous by the minute.]

[ True to his word, Yosuke is pretty much always willing to make room for Haru. It was a little awkward for him at first after that date so didn't go as planned, but she's really too nice of a girl to perpetually avoid. And to be honest? He didn't really want to. She'd been kind enough to make it as clear as possible that she still thought he was a nice guy and Yosuke had become accustomed enough to rejection--at least this girl still genuinely wanted to be friends.

And honestly? He's feeling a little on a high after the group chat. Sure, there's some good natured teasing going around, but it's just that--good-natured and light-hearted. He's used to being the butt of jokes a good portion of the time for shits and giggles, but all he received was well wishes and his friends being generally ridiculous.

They made it seem so...normal.

It's nice.

So he's more than happy to meet Haru, even if it's at the cat cafe. (He feels like he gets his fill of cats at the Narukamis' house, but he can deal for her.) He doesn't take long, having hopped on his bike and just made his way right on over. He parks it outside and properly locks it to a bike rack. (Hey, he bought that thing and no one is going to take it from him.) Once inside, he spots her fairly quickly and offers a friendly wave. ]

Hey! Looks like you already have some company.

[Haru looks up once Yosuke comes into view, and she gives a smile and a wave in return, the cat moving to the edge of the table to check out the guy who just came in. Hello!]

Oh, yes! [She twists her hands in her lap and looks down at them, already nervous before even touching the topic at hand. It's okay, it's just Yosuke... but that's part of why it's so nerve-wracking, isn't it?] I've been here so often, they practically know me already.

[ Cats--well, pets in general really aren't his thing. But he's starting to get pretty used to them thanks to the twins. So...he won't snuff the kitty, instead just holds his hand out so it can sniff it if it wants to. ]

I guess that's not really surprising.

[ He doesn't sound judging, at least? Yosuke takes a seat opposite of Haru. ]
