WHERE: In the city, back lot of the Arcade.
WHEN: All day/night
WHAT: Prompto turns 2! ... I mean 12-- No, wait. 21! It's a birthday bash!
WARNINGS: Drinking, probably foul language? I don't know, I'll update this as I go along.

[ The sun is shining, the skies are clear, and the music is blaring. Upon arrival, it's easy to see that there's quite the party getting prepared. It's not packed yet-- In fact, it's empty. You've arrived just on time!

The entrance is rather simple: an archway covered in both normal and chocobo-shaped balloons with a big banner draped over it stating "Happy Birthday, Prompto!!!". Wristbands to those who are of legal drinking age are provided at the entrance. Make sure to keep that on if you plan on getting wrecked. A table is set right at the entrance, decorated and clearly indicated as the gift table. And once you're past the archway, it's clear that there is plenty to do! Hope you arrived in your best Halloween costume, because all attendants are dressed up too!

Not only is the entire arcade open for free access to each machine, but there are... Trampolines! ]





[ There are varying food stations, chocked full of things like pizza, sandwiches, kebabs, burgers and hotdogs. And, most importantly... Booze! All attendees who have a wristband are able to take full advantage of the open bar, featuring the birthday special: a Capri-sun pack with vodka and juice. Obviously a joke, but it'll get you drunk in the most entertaining way possible. For the younger guests, there are plenty of juice and soda options. Make sure to stay hydrated! There's plenty of water to go around too.

Feel free to ask the DJ for requests, too! Otherwise, there's plenty of various pop and rock songs playing. And make sure to take a stop at the photo booth, complete with fun masks, signs, and glasses to add some flare.

Arrival - Locked to Prompto

[ It's the early afternoon. Noctis had managed to get Prompto to come over right on time, and the apartment is completely cleared of all plans and evidence of a party. Well, save for maybe one thing. ]

Prompto.

[ Noctis beckons his best friend, coming out from his bedroom with something behind his back. It's about time that they go out now, and Noctis promised to take Prompto out for his birthday. Of course, the plan is there, but... Not the way that Prompto may be expecting. ]

Should probably start getting ready before we catch the after-work crowd.

[ He wears the usual, lopsided smile as he hands a wrapped gift towards his friend. ]

Open this first.

[ Not at all ceremonious, but that's completely intentional. ]

Birthday cake! - OTA

[ Noctis is actually pretty stoked about this one. Because of course, he's commissioned none other than the amazing Minako to arrange for Prompto's special birthday cake.

There are two cakes: one made with dairy and large enough for everyone to get a slice, and one made special for Prompto and his sensitive stomach. Each are beautifully decorated and frosted, both are equipped with candles. ]

Alright, c'mon.

[ Noctis pats Prompto on the back, directing him over towards the cakes. ]

Heads up: you gotta blow the candles out on both of these.

[Snake, dressed a fancy muskateer with a blindfold over his eyes for fun, might be a little overwhelmed by the sound of the arcade. He's got a folded up cane hidden in his costume just in case.

He can still partake in skeeball, but you notice that band around his wrist? Someone's been sampling the booze. Can he still play skeeball after having a beer?

Even better, when after two beers he contemplates the inflatable obstacles course. Stop him or encourage him? You make the call!]

There's a familiar figure among the people at the party, the man who seems to stand out no matter where he goes. The unmistakeable long coat, the dark paisley scarf around his neck despite the warmth of the arcade, the battered hat, the...eye-poppingly purple hair??

That is not Ardyn.

That is Togusa.

Dressed up as Ardyn for Halloween.

Togusa is doing an uncannily good impression of the man, complete with some well-practiced dramatic hand gestures as he talks. Spending a few hours at a time watching Ardyn Izunia pace and talk for years has given Togusa all the information he needs to play this part to the hilt. It is only some last-second information that led him to suddenly have to go out and buy the most ridiculous wig he could find to complete the look.

Of course, he's only daring to do this because he's assuming that Ardyn has too much pride to be here. We'll see if this assumption lasts.

[Hey, I'm a trashbucket and not really Here rn, but I'm making note of what Lalli's given Prompto (I WROTE "PROBLEM" FIRST...) and also letting you know that Lalli spent this whole thing wallflowering or maybe even ducking into a closet to hide, so there's that. If you want to approach or find him for whatever reason, you can hit him up here? Sorry it isn't a real prompt, m'dudes.

Solar system marbles and a necklace with a hannunvaakuna (traditionally a protection from evil spirits/bad luck), a feather, and a knife thing that probably isn't an ulu but that's the only kind that pops into my head...ANYWAY, charms of those three things.

Also he maybe bribed someone that actually goes into Prompto's home to lay out sticky, glow in the dark stars in the pattern of the Columba constellation on his ceiling.]
