(CLOSED)
WHO: Emu Hojo (
mightybros), Ritsu Kageyama (
esperimental)
WHERE: Recollé General Hospital
WHEN: 3/4, post-blackout
WHAT: Ritsu goes to see his local pediatrics intern for a boo-boo check and regrets it immediately.
WARNINGS: N/A
[ If the hospital was a battlefield in a RPG, then surely the head nurse was that one monster programmed to jump scare and K.O. the player character in seconds. Emu would know this as he had fallen victim to her monstrous ear pinching attacks a countless number of times. But not without reason. Oh, no.
Emu Hojo was a repeat offender of gaming well past his allotted break hours, often forgetting to attend to his next appointment while he was at it. Today was no exception and, to his own defense, he had been robbed! Last night's sudden blackout had corrupted his save file - a common nightmare scenario no gamer ever wished go through, and he had been using his current time to catch up on lost effort. He even recently obtained the newest generation console which boasted a revolutionary auto-save function but even that hadn't been his saving grace.
But there he was, sitting in his office, playing the ever responsible medical intern as he shuffled through the kid's medical records. Not exactly his favorite game to play, but he had a job to do. ]
So, Ritsu. Blackout got to you too, huh?
[ A logical guess on his part considering twenty other patients got admitted in by just today alone. But he might have looked a bit too amused while joking about it. ]

[ That's easier to admit than "I dropped something then looked for it under the table with a flashlight, thereby seeing a roach and unceremoniously colliding my head with the hard furniture before scrambling out of the kitchen in terror and crashing into three more objects". ]
A teacher insisted I get the bump checked. The neck stiffness is the most annoying part, but I don't want to ruin my class attendance so it'll be great if this is gone before Monday. [ also read: I don't want to ask people for help with notes and homework I miss bc I keeps denying them copying mine ]

Not so fast, mister honor student. Depending on your body you might need to take it easy. [ He waves the stethoscope around his neck as if it were to say "hey buddy" and finger guns at the exam table next to them. ]
I'll be doing a few checkups so make yourself at home.

Still, Ritsu sighs compliantly, and takes a seat.
All he can do now is sit and pray the damage isn't too bad, cringing at the pang of muscle strain as he did so. Little did he know that would be the least of his problems, as far as neck pain goes. ]
