[Semi-Open] You only become legal twice.
WHO: Vera, all her friends, and anyone age 21 and over!
WHERE: The warehouse district just outside Enprise
WHEN: Evening/Night of 10/21
WHAT: Vera's Halloween-themed 21st Birthday!
WARNINGS: Potential PG-13 situations, some underage drinking.
I.
[It's a cool October night and Vera and her setup team have been hard at work transforming a large warehouse building into the capital of Partytown, USA. The front entrance has been locked down tight, with a bouncer in front of the staircase leading up to the second level. He'll be checking over anyone heading inside, making sure they have no weapons and are above the legal drinking age. That is unless, of course, your name is on the list, then you can head right up to the show without the run-around. Everyone heading inside will get a pair of neon shutter shades, some neon wristbands, and a pack of glow sticks, though no one will say what they are for.]
II.
[The second floor of the warehouse is cool, clean, and industrial. The lights are on just bright enough to navigate safely, accented by fairy lights wrapped around the black metal railings that line the walkways. The paths lead to two main "rooms", the first of which houses the catering, filled with hot food prepared by a local restaurant, including hamburgers, roasted chicken, and assorted finger foods. The spread is highlighted by the giant birthday cake sitting on the center table among a sea of little cupcakes provided by Minako's bakery. On the opposite wall sits a mini-bar with a private bar tender that will make pretty much any drink you'd like, or from a selection of beers.
The second room is where the main party takes place. A large circular couch sits in the middle of the room with a table at it's center serves as the hub for the various party games. The space in the couch is just wide enough to wedge in the black throne where the birthday girl will sit. Chairs and tables line the walls for anyone wanting to hang out but not participate in the games. Vera herself will be walking around mingling with the guests, dressed in her regal "king of the underworld" costume. Guests are encouraged to wear their own costumes as well!]
III.
[After the sun has set and everyone has eaten, it's time to move on to the main event. The first level of the warehouse is unlocked to reveal that the entire level had been converted into a gigantic bounce house. The room itself is dark, save for the flashing strobe lights and lasers drawing shapes on the walls and ceiling. Loud dance music is being pumped in from the room above. Now would be a good time to break out those glow sticks!]
IV.
[As the party is coming to a close, Vera welcomes her guests to stay the night and sober up, with plenty of food and water left over to help do so. Anyone who wants to go home will be offered an Uber to get home safely. Otherwise, a cleanup team will be taking down the bounce house and replacing it with some comfortable cots to sleep on.]
