Ah, is this guy with the police force? Well, that certainly makes this a lot easier and Souji nods. "Please let me know if you find any results." Whatever information they might find would probably be better than anything Souji could gather through the internet.

But now onto Togusa's more recent point... "I've heard of people receiving items from Retrospec but nothing involving weapons. What sort of weapons are they receiving?" Swords? Guns?

Togusa nods sharply. "I will. It's been difficult," understatement, "getting some momentum on this from within the Department. Those of us who are keeping an eye on this will also be trying to keep everyone else involved in this in the loop." Togusa sighs deeply. "But you may also want to keep talking with your uncle. He's been surprisingly well-informed."

"Someone publicly admitted they were given a bladed weapon, at least one other person a handgun." Togusa is able to say that with an absolutely straight face, even though he's the one with a questionably legal revolver sitting in a lockbox that he still hasn't decided what to do with. "I still have to talk with them personally."

Souji nods in agreement as Togusa mentions Ardyn. Adryn, despite all of the insanely goofy conversations they've had, is definitely an intelligent man and it certainly wouldn't hurt speaking to him.

"I'm assuming that you're attempting to confiscate them?" That's the only reasonable choice of action here.

Togusa nods, "The ones we're legally allowed to confiscate, yes. I'm having to give myself a crash course refresher on what types of weapons are and aren't legal to own without a permit. And at what ages. We're back to Retrospec seemingly not caring about minors and what happens to them." Togusa shakes his head and sighs.

"Of course, I could just give everything I've found to your other uncle, Fynn, if I just wanted the whole thing to get blown up." Togusa smiles in amusement. "Sometimes I forget those two are brothers."
