[CLOSED] But Somewhere None of this Happened
WHO: Katherine Takada & Maggie Mayvin
WHERE: Maggie's Apartment
WHEN: Backdated to 10/15
WHAT: Maggie's long awaited therapy session.
WARNINGS: General warming for trauma, terrible coping mechanisms, and potential mental breakdowns, more TBA
[Maggie waited anxiously in her apartment with Bienfu behind her. She knew Kath wouldn't notice him of course, Kath didn't have those ghost seeing powers after all. Of course, he was mostly there because Magi never actually kept him away from her, or rather couldn't. They were bonded by their spirits through a pact, their lives entangled. And also he was the thing that enabled her weapon access, which in this fog situation was a blessing.
[But today she wasn't going to be dealing with the fog. That was only one source of anxiety for her and not the most prevalent one. No. Today she had something far more personal to be worrying about. She had left the door unlocked for Kath to come in once she got here but... god. Maggie was not ready for this. Talking about her feelings and problems with other people was not something she did. She was cagey and independent and tried to solve all her problems by herself. She couldn't anymore though, not with everything going on with retrospec. That is what she told herself, but some part of her still doubted it. Some part of her told her to disregard it, to carry on by herself and to make her way through these obstacles on her own. That part of her was an emotional part however, and with these sorts of matters, she couldn't let emotions cloud her judgement.
[Well, besides when she had to talk about them anyways.
[And that's why she was sitting here, filled with regret and yet soldiering in anyways, waiting to have therapy with Katherine Takada.]

A worried expression crosses her face as she approaches the door, a number of doubts in the back of her mind. There's the worry of remaining professional: while this was a slightly unorthodox setup, she couldn't let any personal biases regarding Maggie get in the way. When she walks in, Maggie can't exactly be just her friend: she will be, for all intents and purposes, her patient. Yet at the same time she knows she's bonded with her, even if bonding for them thus far had been coping with Retrospect changes, fighting monsters, and...her birthday.
The other issue is...hidden under her hat, a rather shapely beanie chosen specifically to hiding the first major change Retrospect had ever brought to her. The fact that Magilou knows about whats on her head isn't exactly discomforting, but at the same time she knows where she'll stare.
Then there's one...oh, she's at the door now. Swallowing the thoughts to be digested, Katherine readjusts her hat and messenger bag and knocks. ]

[She grabs hold of Bienfu, pulling him onto her lap.] "Wha-"
"Be quiet. Kath doesn't know about you so I don't want her to have more things to worry about! She may be unable to perceive you but she can certainly see my reactions!" [She whispers to him, and he sulks a little about it. Didn't she have her reactions under control? The answer to that being, mostly yes, but insurance was a necessary measure she had to take. Thus, she just waits for Kath to open the door.]

When she finally finds her, that sense of worry disappears.]
Hi Maggie. Sorry we weren't able to meet last week. [ She's honestly just waiting for the slightly older woman to ask her about the hat and horns and get that all over with. Despite her composed demeanor, she's watching the playwrite's reaction and gaze. She was used to people staring at her arm already, except now it would be so much more obvious. ] How have you been doing? It hasn't been the easiest month on all of us this far.
