NOTE!! You can leave an empty comment with the subject header of your choice or even RANDOM for something unlisted/miscellaneous (lighthearted) and I'll write the prompt. For nightmares, it may skip around and make no sense very much like how actual dreams are.

nightmares

[ When you enter the dream, you're engulfed by darkness until you hear a deep and unfamiliar voice. It speaks in a language you are most comfortable with. ]

in his journey to oppose fate and seek change.

CASINO
It's filled with a variety of gamblers from talking fish to actual people. Shadows are also gambling? But they're aggressive due to their mass losses. There are several elevators and it seems like the treasure is on the VIP level.

If you choose to enter the CASINO, you may appear outside of the structure or on the first floor in costume and mask. Akira will accompany you in his Joker outfit.

VELVET ROOM
Are you a prisoner? Or a keeper? You can stand behind the bars with Akira, withstand the abuse and rebel alongside him, or on the opposite side—ushered by two wardens and a man with an elongated nose to carry out discipline. Rehabilitation is important.

If you choose to enter the VELVET ROOM, you may appear inside or outside the cell. Your attire will change into prisoner wear or officer uniform respectively.

MEMENTOS (SPOILER)
In the city of Recolle, you notice there's something strange. People walk past the blood red rain and the towering skeleton pieces. The irrelevant become forgotten. The forgotten vanish. Is it your hand that's disappearing? Or is it Akira's?

If you choose MEMENTOS, you'll be in your normal attire or in your underwear. Whichever your character feels less attractive in if you want. Once again, Akira is beside you.

[ Akira has been having a hard time with his nightmares. Some of them he remembers bits and pieces (all useless), but he's thinking a jog in the ungodly time where the thick fog rolls in is a good idea? Unfortunately not... He ends up running away from one of these three tormentors in his pajamas. What's with his luck?

As he looks behind him, he crashes into someone. Sorry. ]

TWIN WARDENS (SPOILER)
Their names are unknown to you, but they're two girls with silver hair with a single golden eye (an eyepatch covers the other). As attendants of the Velvet Room, they have this ethereal aura to them, even menacing as they shoot various skills into the fog.

"Come back here, inmate! You can't hide forever!"

"You're only delaying the inevitable."

IMPERIOUS ANGEL (SPOILER)
An angel appears with an abstract body shape. Wings scaling wide and halo spinning over its head, it spreads its several hands that hold instruments. With the rise of the triangle, the angel rings it with a clear ding. In a matter of seconds, a flash of light magic strikes near.

"I am what humanity desires. Why oppose me?"

You can hear the sneer in its voice.

GOLD PIGGER
This silver piggy bank may seem cute, but it's also massively large and rolls without end. What does stop it from rolling are valuable items. Throw something expensive and it'll take a break to appraise it with a series of oinks. The one in control is a half-fly guy throwing out some mad rhymes.

"Yo yo yo! You think you can just walk into my neighborhood and disrespect me like that, dawg?"

Uh.

[ How does he break this to Iwai? Why not they run first—Akira takes him by the wrist so they can run to safety. The angel at least takes its precious time to float, as if enjoying the...

Would one call this a chase? ]

A god? Maybe.

[geckoman]

You call that a god?

[At least he can manage running. Looking back, he does swear though when he sees the damn thing following him.]

I ain't even got a weapon against that thing. Just one of those guns from my shop.

[maskreant]

It's a godly thing. Is that better?

[ Running they go, but the god continues to float even eerily quietly, as if it's eavesdropping on them. When the mention of a weapon pops up, it lets out a hardy and pompous laugh.

"Surely you jest. No man-made weapon can hurt me, foolish human!" ]

It's better if we don't engage.

[ He says that, but he means everyone that isn't him shouldn't engage it. He'll take the bullet if it means his friends are safe.

"You cannot even escape me." ]

[geckoman]

No shit.

[Iwai looks around and finally shoves Akira down an alley so they can dart through the buildings to the other side. It's not going to do much but he's trying to do anything to get this kid out of danger right now.]

It's going to hurt someone at this rate.

[maskreant]

[ SMART. The god is gated by the small entrance, unable to pursue them. There's only a foreboding hum coming from it as Akira and Iwai continue to add distance. ]

Then I guess everyone lucked out since it's only after us?

[ When they reach the end, the god is there... Rest in pieces. ]

[geckoman]

Shit...

[Of course his first instinct is to put himself in front of Akira, arm out so he can take any potential blows. This kid is his family. He has to find a way to keep him safe.]

This thing moves fast.

[maskreant]

I don't know if you would consider it moving.

[ "I exist area, so there's no escape."

Ah. Nice. Akira closes his eyes, exasperated, but looks surprised at how Iwai is blocking him like a protective guardian. This is... Weird. It's probably his other self's feelings, but he personally had better relationships with adults.

"If he can't save himself, there's no way you can save him, pitiful human."

NOT WRONG. ]

We might just need to run past it. Since it's large, it probably takes more energy to land attacks—they'll probably be slower due to wind resistance, too.

[ Take Risks. ]

[geckoman]

[...He has no idea what all that wind resistance talk is because hey high school drop out here. But Iwai just nods anyway before moving forward more so that way Akira has room to run past. He wants to run behind him so he can keep body blocking.]

Kid, why is this thing talking like it's after you?

[maskreant]

[ Iwai, they have to move faster? Akira speeds past him despite his determination in being his shield. Of course he holds onto his wrist as they spread through the gap of its legs.

Move those bad boy legs. ]

Because it's from my memories.

[ Simple enough!! And it looks like he's right since the Angel is taking some time to turn... Slowly. ]

[geckoman]

I can run without your help, ya know.

[He looks back and watches that thing slowly tu... Wait what?]

Your memories? What kind of world are our other selves from that you get things like that and blood falling from the sky?

[...The blood part is from his own fog experience actually.]

[maskreant]

... I think those two things are related.

[ But he's not sure how much he can spill as they're running. He does at least let go of his wrist so Iwai can run on his own. ]

I thought we came from a normal world, too, but it's actually not all that normal. [ ... ] It can't follow us into a building, right?

[geckoman]

I don't know that I want to know.

[He looks back at the thing then ahead at Akira.]

I haven't seen any of 'em be able to get in buildings. Just out where the fog is.

[maskreant]

[ He's leading them towards the district where Iwai's shop should be. The angel continues to follow them, even casting a ray of light to obliterate them. Luckily, it's slow...But it closing in faster and faster. ]

Then let's hide out in your shop for a bit.

[geckoman]

Take the next right then, kid. It's the faster way to get to the back room.

[Which is way more protected than the front of his shop. Because that's where he keeps the really good stuff.]

[maskreant]

[ Okay! They're going to duck right just as Iwai dictates. When they reach the back door, Akira stops to a complete halt.

"You think this store can save you?"

It's powering up its giant laser cutter, glowing brightly with immense energy. ]

Oh, boy.

[ Let's get the door open. ]

[geckoman]

[He's already got his keys out of his pocket and flips to the right one. Pushing himself faster now, he shoves the key in the lock then hauls the door open before waving Akira to get inside.]

If this destroys my shop you're paying damages, kid.

[He says but honestly he won't follow through on that one as he goes to run in after Akira to slam the door behind him.]

[maskreant]

We might die and you're worried about your shop.

[ He finds it refreshing... And makes him feel like they'll be safe. Once they enter the shop, the angel's voice cannot be heard at all.

It's like it disappeared entirely. ]

[geckoman]

Because if we live I'd like to still have a job.

[When he can't hear anything, he drops into his chair and pulls his hat off.]

Alright, kid. What do you remember about that nightmare?

[maskreant]

I'm sure you can cover for your own repairs? Your store is pretty popular for those that want to unwind and hobbyists... Hobbies aren't cheap.

[ He's poor, Iwai!! Poor...! Spending money on cat furniture! Akira heaves a sigh before plopping onto the nearest chair. ]

... Do you really want to know?

[geckoman]

Guess you better hope that thing doesn't do anything to my shop then since you're the one covering those costs, huh?

[Seriously, he wouldn't make the kid do it. But he'll still say he's going to.]

I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to know.

[maskreant]

If we survive, I'll see what I can do.

[ Because if the store comes crashing down, he only has Personas to help them. That seems fully equipped. ]

The world fused this weird place that represents people's cognition, so the skeletons popped up and the rain was red. People who were forgotten in the minds of people would also physically disappear... And I think that god, that thing we just saw, is behind all of that.

[geckoman]

So if they were forgotten they disappeared...

[That's what he was remembering.]

That thing has the power to do all that? Make people forget about others so they just disappear? Not to mention whatever attack it wanted to destroy us with.

[maskreant]

... Yeah, I think so. I don't remember everything, but I know that thing is definitely involved.

[ His shoulders slump as he tilts his head back, just staring up at the building. ]

But it isn't too bad. The Phantom Thieves defeated it in the end.

[geckoman]

The what now?

[...he's pretty sure he heard that right but he's going to check.]

The Phantom Thieves? Apparently, they were a group of vigilantes that sought to change the hearts of criminals...
