NOTE!! You can leave an empty comment with the subject header of your choice or even RANDOM for something unlisted/miscellaneous (lighthearted) and I'll write the prompt. For nightmares, it may skip around and make no sense very much like how actual dreams are.

[ When you enter the dream, you're engulfed by darkness until you hear a deep and unfamiliar voice. It speaks in a language you are most comfortable with. ]

The contract has been sealed...

You have agreed to provide the Trickster support
in his journey to oppose fate and seek change.

CASINO
It's filled with a variety of gamblers from talking fish to actual people. Shadows are also gambling? But they're aggressive due to their mass losses. There are several elevators and it seems like the treasure is on the VIP level.

If you choose to enter the CASINO, you may appear outside of the structure or on the first floor in costume and mask. Akira will accompany you in his Joker outfit.

VELVET ROOM
Are you a prisoner? Or a keeper? You can stand behind the bars with Akira, withstand the abuse and rebel alongside him, or on the opposite side—ushered by two wardens and a man with an elongated nose to carry out discipline. Rehabilitation is important.

If you choose to enter the VELVET ROOM, you may appear inside or outside the cell. Your attire will change into prisoner wear or officer uniform respectively.

MEMENTOS (SPOILER)
In the city of Recolle, you notice there's something strange. People walk past the blood red rain and the towering skeleton pieces. The irrelevant become forgotten. The forgotten vanish. Is it your hand that's disappearing? Or is it Akira's?

If you choose MEMENTOS, you'll be in your normal attire or in your underwear. Whichever your character feels less attractive in if you want. Once again, Akira is beside you.

[ Akira has been having a hard time with his nightmares. Some of them he remembers bits and pieces (all useless), but he's thinking a jog in the ungodly time where the thick fog rolls in is a good idea? Unfortunately not... He ends up running away from one of these three tormentors in his pajamas. What's with his luck?

As he looks behind him, he crashes into someone. Sorry. ]

TWIN WARDENS (SPOILER)
Their names are unknown to you, but they're two girls with silver hair with a single golden eye (an eyepatch covers the other). As attendants of the Velvet Room, they have this ethereal aura to them, even menacing as they shoot various skills into the fog.

"Come back here, inmate! You can't hide forever!"

"You're only delaying the inevitable."

IMPERIOUS ANGEL (SPOILER)
An angel appears with an abstract body shape. Wings scaling wide and halo spinning over its head, it spreads its several hands that hold instruments. With the rise of the triangle, the angel rings it with a clear ding. In a matter of seconds, a flash of light magic strikes near.

"I am what humanity desires. Why oppose me?"

You can hear the sneer in its voice.

GOLD PIGGER
This silver piggy bank may seem cute, but it's also massively large and rolls without end. What does stop it from rolling are valuable items. Throw something expensive and it'll take a break to appraise it with a series of oinks. The one in control is a half-fly guy throwing out some mad rhymes.

"Yo yo yo! You think you can just walk into my neighborhood and disrespect me like that, dawg?"

[ Futaba’s resolutely ignoring the fact that she’s got the words ‘did we lose…?’ stuck on loop in her head. They haven’t lost this particular fight just yet so there’s nothing to panic over. Right??? Right. ]

You’ve got it!

[ Though if mr. evil overlord voice is to go by, they sure have their work cut out for them. Standing around here for a few weeks sure isn’t going to help anything though. Give her a moment to notice the skeleton formation, and she’ll nudge him to look ]

Hey, that looks interesting. Think that’s our path?

[ It's a dark and distorted version of a of the subway station. They can hear the subway running in another area. It toots its little horn, but it doesn't seem like they're in any trouble. The pulsing stops, hut hm...

He knows this place, though he thinks it's better not to tell Daisuke. ]

We might need to go lower.

[ Akira will help him down onto the tracks (which may seem like a Bad Idea). ]

[ He guesses it doesn't matter if he tells this dream or not. However, he can give a warning shot. He's quite the sharpshooter thanks to playing copious amounts of games and shoots the place where his lookalike is about to venture.

Satanael shoots behind him so he can't take a step back. ]

I have the power to obliterate this whole museum if you dare touch the earring.

[ Like, he isn't kidding. ]

[ everything's white to him now, so does this mean they did it? they defeated those antis and stole the treasure and everything? sena still doesn't understand what's going on, and it's pretty evident in his voice. ]

Yeah, yeah. Don't go carrying all those burdens on your own next time, okay? So annoying.

[ an exasperated sigh. ]

...No problem. You can always count on me for help - it's what phantom thieves do, after all. Isn't that right, Joker?

[ it doesn't really matter in the long run, because sena will forget most of what has just transpired in this dream upon waking up the next morning. even so, he'll have a strange and familiar recollection about certain people who actually want the memories that come with the app... but why would anyone wish for more of that?

ah well. who knows.

[That's gross? Robin Hood is so very outclassed here, and Goro finds himself in a similar position with the serpent-like body squeezing around him. It's dizzying. Suffocating. So hard to breathe, the world speckling black at the corners of his vision.

He dully recognizes the sound of bullets before he's collapsing to the ground, panting for air in his knelt position, and Robin flicks in appearance before settling solid again. It's just a dream. It's a dream, so he should be able to summon that other one if needed, but-- but it's terrifying to think about, that it might join sides with the thing before them, so he pushes it out of mind and stands. It doesn't make things less tiring. Less frustrating.

The Persona'll keep his distance this time, aiming to pin the disturbing creature's limbs with arrows, and whether it works out or not Goro's throwing himself back into the fray, slashes more focused on cutting deep than cutting smart. Kind of fiercely that.]

[ The elevator was scary, but at least that would have been a sure way down. He's not sure if the tracks would lead them any further down. If anything, they would go up?? At least that's what Daisuke thinks, but this is a dream. Akira would know best...

But it still bothers him. ]

Is it a good idea to be on the tracks when there are trains running...?

"But would you?"

[ The lookalike is no longer laughing. If it couldn't go forward or backward, it'd just have to sidestep. Easy--even if they were just warning shots. ]

"You sound desperate, though calm enough that even your lookalike doesn't affect you. But I'm not interested in you."

[ The lookalike sheds the disguise. This time, showing off what is presumably his true identity, Phantom Thief Dark. He taps his foot on the floor tile next to his twice and a trap springs, with something shooting through the glass case, taking the earring with it and he catches it easily. It all happened so fast. ]

Why don't you take another ten years to prepare yourself to catch up to me?

[ clearly that is the secret of this dream. DEEP DOWN, AKIRA IS IN LOVE WITH DAVE STRIDER, alternately his coworker is like, a time traveler or something. ]

What the fuck was that?

[ - IS THE FIRST THING TO COME TO MIND, IF THE DREAM DOESN'T IMMEDIATELY END ]

Sometimes it’s worth it to take risks.

[ And in a blink of an eye Satanael drops a megidoloan into the museum. The massive energy and blinding light engulfs the building and destroys everything in its path, but it is indeed escapable if they’re not blinded. If they are, it’s okay. Akira can and will maneuver them out through the window with Satanael’s help. If they do escape, Akira will definitely give a chase this time

This is pretty fun! Odd enough, this has been one of the most relaxing dreams he has had yet. ]

[Oh.

Now she bristles, watching the disappearing.]

Then let us return. I won't fail again.

Come to think of it, you're quite right... [ Ah, well, um... Let her think, let her think...

...not that she's any help when it comes to this; she's been here for so long and she still adventures gets lost around the city. Elizabeth's glancing up, trying to judge something, and... well, whatever, honestly. Better idea than none. ] Let's get onto a roof. Fog's rather heavy, so it tends to stay low.

[ Unfortunately, to cut Akira's fun times short, the megidoloan breaks the museum and makes it collapse. The museum doesn't seem to be as sturdy as the architecture would suggest. The people outside are screaming. The police officers inside the building are screaming. Everyone is screaming. Dark doesn't appear to be anywhere.

The screaming abruptly stops and Akira finds himself in the center of the room again with the glass case with the earring. The clock strikes 9.

However, the difference is that the walkie talkie is silent this time, along with everything else. ]

[ He hums now that he's back in this room. How many time does he have to do this? It seems like it'll keep looping until he does something different... He's also sure there's no way to escape that blast, so he's wondering if it shouldn't be stopping the thief at all. ]

I didn't think it would be that strong... Or maybe this building is really shabby?

[ Is it silent because of what he did? He uses it— ] Hello?

If my memory is right, we should be okay... But it'll be tiring.

[ He rubs his neck as he looks around. Why can't his friend show up? That cat—and as if summoned, Morrigan shows up.

Kitty looks at both of them before sighing, "why do I have to be pulled into this, too?"

Morrigan seems to have a boyish voice, pretty young, and turns into... a car. ]

Nice. I have my driver's license, too.

[ "Who would even let you drive?!" ]

[ . . .

What.

Daisuke just looks at Morrigan turning into a car. And did he just talk?? He looks at Akira, so confused. YOUR CAT JUST TURNED INTO A CAR AND YOU JUST COMMENT ON HOW YOU HAVE YOUR LICENSE... ]

Does this mean... the car drives itself...?

... Yeah, but it may be dangerous.

[ And obviously in the sense of danger, his outfit pops up mask and all. It feels natural, just like fixing his red gloves with a fastening tug. If this is his dream, then he should have infinite stamina to keep his Personas out, right?

Satanael appears, much larger than he would in Retrospec, and kneels down for them use him as a ferry. ]

Hop on.

[sketchythief]

[ There is static on the other end. It's difficult to tell whose voice it is.

"How many more times do I have to go through this?"

The static lingers for several seconds more until it clips. It's off.

The door doesn't even have to open this time. Dark stands there and the earring is already in his possession despite how it was just in its case. He taps his foot once on a specific tile and the floor opens up under Akira--10 feet by 10 feet with him in the center. Down below is just water and darkness. ]

[ That makes Akira sputter before chuckling a bit, at least until the scene is manipulated. Not even the lack of flooring startles him. Satanael appears as flashy as ever from the black blue flame that engulfs have of his face and the room.

The demon lord spreads its wings and carries him up. In only a second, he makes the leap to ground and his dagger appears in his hand. ]

Well, I'm having fun.

[ He's nimble on his feet, quick in his movements. His eyes practically glow under the moonlight, exhilarated by this opportunity. Give him the earring!! ]

Being caught in a trap that the security made is quite something for the commander.

[ He almost scoffs as he dodges each swipe of the dagger. In the blink of an eye, he's standing on top of the glass case, which was a bit far from where they just were. ]

But that weird thing behind you--isn't that just cheating?

[ He's complaining, but he doesn't really sound all that serious. ]

[maskreant]

[ Akira lands a kick at the glass to force Dark off. Satanael disappears into the dark blue flame, but another takes his place. It's a samurai, but it appears right in front of Dark with its blades uncomfortable close. ]

The world doesn't play fair, so why should I?

[ All these things popping in and out of nowhere makes his job hard, especially when they have weapons and he doesn't. The most he can do is just dodge and escape, but either way, Dark immediately backs away from both--or at least attempts to. He steps on a tile on the floor again, letting several chunks of cement fall from the ceiling in random places. Should Akira dodge those, it'll make a huge dust cloud that covers the floor. ]

Brute force isn't my thing, so I'll just show myself out.

[maskreant]

[ Akira does dodge it, but dodging forward. The cloud of dust that lifts off of the concrete and debris doesn't obscure his vision at all. The third eye switches on and he can see Dark glowing past the particles.

Yoshitsune positions itself behind dark to pressure him to a certain direction, following Akira's precise instructions—and he's literally going to football tackle him. ]

[ It's not like Dark can see through dust, since he's actually a lot more normal than one would expect. At least this one anyway. There isn't enough space to dodge like he always does, so he ends up getting tackled to the floor.

That hurts so much. ]

Can you get any more worse--christ.

[ Dark attempts to throw him off. He's pretty strong for a thin looking guy, but... ]

[ The monster is part python or something, don't mind it. The monsters hands are pinned to the ground, but its neck cranes over them. Even if Goro lashes at it, it lunges at him with its neck and head along. With teeth bared, it practically smashes its face at him. If Goro dodges or it misses, it plants its face into the ground and creates small craters. Whatever arrows shot from Robin Hood also stay in the beast, only drawing out a screech so piercing. Its assault doesn't end.

Akira stands here, watching quietly. His body is trembling, making it hard for him to handle any weapon. Despair starts to envelope him again, but he has to keep fighting if he wants to be of any help. Goro might be crushed at any second if that monster lands its face straight into him, maybe even devour him whole.

He knows he can't do much on the battlefield, so he drags his feet to the glitching heart that floats over the pedestal.

"Do you really want this? I knew... I knew you left me behind!"

The monster changes targets. Its neck swings wildly as its head travels to intercept Akira, leaving itself vulnerable for one fell cleave. ]

[ Akira looks ready for a costume party and Minako is ready for... Something entirely different. His outfit is at least snazzy, though. Anyway, he snaps some shots of the files in the strange language before leaving her to peruse on her own. ]

Not sure... Maybe we can make references to it when we're out. Someone might recognize it.

[ And he notices something strange about the building. The last two times he went, the doors have been closed, but this... There's a door that's slightly ajar. He feels his heart stop as he bores holes into it with his gaze. ]

Hey. The door—it's open.

[ Of course he's going to it!! But he isn't going to open it until Minako is ready. ]
