[ when souji hears that sudden voice come out of nowhere, he immediately goes on guard. this has... a very familiar feel to everything and once the large shadowy monster appears, he immediately thinks about to his memories inside the tv world. is... this something like that? or is it something completely different? there's no time to wonder about that now, though, so he readies himself with his sword and shakes his head at dante ]

Not a chance. Besides, I'm the one here with a weapon, you know.

[ the last sentence is said with a humorous tone ]

[There's a huff of amusement from Dante, a wry smirk as he pulls his Keyblade from midair.]

Who said anything about that?

[But that's all the argument he'll give; he's seen at least one of Souji's personas before and he's got that sword on him. If he's ready to take on the Darkside alongside him, Dante won't turn down the offer!

Meanwhile, the Darkside has completely pulled itself up and out of the ground, arms spread wide. It turns toward the two of them, moving oddly delicately on its feet, but as it looks down at them and prepares for its first blow it looks anything but.]
