[ so this tuesday evening everyone with murder school mayhem memories will find themselves invited to kyouko and kaguya's apartment! their apartment is very nice and there's matching furniture and it's very beautiful and while people can do toplevels or whatever and tag in whatever order i will just...

start us off here.

kyouko is seated on the sofa (so whoever likes can sit next to her), legs crossed neatly. she is unfortunately now purple-themed, her hair a light purple and her eyes a darker purple. she is carefully ignoring this. ]

So. I believe everyone is aware, now, that we share memories...but, where should we start off? I do believe I have the general layout of how we knew one another...more or less.

[ kyouko and kaguya's nice apt with their matching furniture.......... seems like a call-out against naegi and daisuke's barren apt with mismatching furniture so rude... but naegi will on a chair. he's got ~anime~ hair and when i mean anime hair, i mean the stupid ahoge. the stupid ahoge with brown hair and grey eyes because green is still playing where's waldo ]

Maybe we should start with what we have in common? Like Hope's Peak?

[And here's Byakuya. For now, he's choosing to stand with his arms crossed as he glances back and forth across the room, surveying his suddenly anime-haired companions with a silent curiosity.

He's dressed in casual pretty clothes - the norm for him - but he also now has a strap slung over his shoulder. One which belongs to... is the a binoculars case? It almost feels like Byakuya is waiting for someone to ask him about it...

That's exactly what I'd suggest. What better place to start than at the central location that we all seemingly are aware of?

[He then recites from (regained) memory.]

Hope's Peak Academy. A prestigious Japanese high school that accepts only high school students who are the best of the best of their talents. There is no tuition, its students receive 'Super High School Level' titles, and when its graduates are allegedly set for life.

[Byakuya smirks proudly.]

Does that sound right?

[ Presumably Kaguya will be taking up the other seat on the sofa, then, ignoring Kyouko's strange change in appearance as she has since it happened (she figures that's the best approach).

This isn't a topic she knows much about, so she feels a little lost for contributing. But she'll nod regardless. ]

I don't remember anything more about Hope's Peak than its unusual headmaster... but that fits with what Kyouko told me before.

[ At least, the Super High School Level bit, anyway. ]

Mm...for the most part, the information I have on that person is simply that speech he gave...

[ ... ]

That is, about the mutual killing.

[ naegi still hasn't regained back that memory and he's kind of thankful of that. just hearing about it gets his stomach tied up in knots and he feels extremely uncomfortable with just the idea that he might have been placed in that situation in his other life. ]

You want to know if someone actually did it. [Byakuya guesses, but with a definitive tone.]

That's one thing I don't know. The only memory I have related to the mutual killing is hearing the rules in the first place.

It's the same for me. I remember him threatening us to kill each other, but other than that... my memories haven't had anything to do with any murders.

I'd like to think that means nothing happened, but...

[ But she's literally gotten back 5 memories at this point, so she knows that's a poor sample size. ]

...All I remember was a few hotheads attacking the Headmaster, in terms of violence. However...

...that aside. I believe there were at least two classes...that is, I believe we have representatives of two classes here, but perhaps no more? Kaguya, Byakuya...you both spoke to me of an island.

[He nods in turn.]

That's correct. My memories place me on some sort of an island... In fact, I believe that bear referred to it as the 'field trip of mutual killing'.

[Then, Byakuya glances towards the other indicated person.]

Yes, I was there as well. We'd been on a field trip lead by the rabbit, I presume, when the bear had interfered and taken over.

[ That's mostly an assumption - technically, she's not really sure who the rabbit was, or why they'd been on the island to begin with. But given how many of her memories seem to be relatively cheerful ones... ]

Most of my memories are of activities I can only presume were before his arrival.

[ naegi feels... so lost. he hasn't gotten any memories back of this bear or rabbit so he's so ??????? right now ]

Wait... what's this about a rabbit?

[ at least he's heard of the bear so wat ]

[He nods solemnly and then turns his attention towards Naegi.]

A pink rabbit, much like Monokuma, who wears a dress and wields a magical wand... much like a magical girl.

[He pauses in thought.]

I believe that she was in my other memory as well, but she looked somewhat different there.

Yes... Monobear was the one who gave her the makeover. He called her Monomi, as well.

[ Which was pretty obviously not her actual name, but she doesn't know what that is, so for now Monomi will have to suffice. ]

She appeared to be fighting him, but it's possible that was all for show, given how similar they seemed.

...I don't think it was for show.

[ ah, looks like she's starting to get naturally cagey already. and yet. ]

However, I do wonder why her design would change...?

[ naegi can't contribute too much to the convo right now since he doesn't really know these characters so... ]

[Byakuya gives a light shrug of his shoulders as he takes note of the name 'Monomi'.]

It sounds plausible, given what I've seen of them. But do we really need to this much thought into the affairs of stuffed animals?

It may be relevant later. However...I'm curious as to why you brought binoculars, Byakuya...?

[He smirks proudly in response as he slides a hand over towards the case.]

Oh, this? Heh... It's about time someone noticed. [It's time for the true main event.]

I wouldn't bring something as pedestrian as binoculars. No, this is something far more interesting...

[Byakuya opens up the case and withdraws... a pair of night vision goggles!]

I didn't expect Retrospec to send me something truly worthwhile. Maybe the company isn't a complete waste after all!

[ Not having any memories of the party yet, all she sees are some strange-looking goggles. Are they supposed to be notable? Maybe she's missing it. ]

...Is there something special about those goggles?

[ It's a bit of a tangent, but this seems to be important in some way. ]

...They're night-vision goggles, aren't they...? But why would you have those...

That's correct. [Someone knows they're stuff! He holds them up in front of his face proudly, but without actually donning them.]

They're a useful survival tool. I can imagine countless scenarios in which they would play pivotal roles, especially if I was trapped on a dangerous island.

[ can't wait until twogami puts them on only to get stabbed ]

Did you actually get to use them?

More importantly, exactly what sort of tools did that person "supply"...

[He lowers the goggles with a frown and taps at his glasses.]

Unfortunately, I don't have answers for either of you. I have yet to remember anything related to these goggles. But I'm sure that I put them to good use...

[Byakuya glances towards his cousin.]

Do you suspect that dangerous items might have been supplied as well?

[ ...This tangent about the goggles seems to be getting them nowhere, so maybe it's time to try a different tack? That's Kaguya's thought, at least, when she makes her next suggestion. ]

...It may be more useful for us to each explain what we do know in turn, rather than playing twenty questions. That will likely put us all on the same page much more quickly.
