WHO: Franklin (
freeskies) and Rosalind (
originallutece)
WHERE: Recollé U's Physics Lab
WHEN: 10/01, after 1.
WHAT: Franklin has something he wishes to get Ros's opinion on, so it's off to the lab.
WARNINGS: None!
[As fun as their chats are thus far, it's business that ultimately brings him to the lab to speak to Rosalind. Though his words show a flair for the dramatic, his clothes don't quite match up, with a simple button down, sleeves rolled up, and a pair of jeans.
Perhaps, one day, he will be as fancy as the pirate his profile pic shows. But for now, he's a man with a sidebag, for his laptop, and the many, many notebooks of paper he's got for note keeping.
The physics lab wasn't hard to find, after digging into the map of the university, and comparing that to Dr. Lutece's campus profile. And he's eager to get a second opinion on the video he has, either way. It was a lark he'd decided to follow after their first conversation. Now, he was glad he had.
He knocks on the door.]

Shall I let myself in?

Mr. Brewer?

But he doesn't seem perturbed by her reaction, at least not outwardly.]
The very same.

Well. You're a good deal younger than I expected, though that in turn speaks highly of your investigative abilities.

[He neatly sidesteps the comment on his age-- for now? It wasn't relevant. And he sits across from her, before producing a USB drive from his bag... and a notepad. He prefers to write over type.]
This should be what piques your interest.

Who took the video?

[if she clicks through the files, she should be able to find a working video of this thread. Even though he's seen it, he'll watch it without comment.]
She apparently had the luck to have already had her recording equipment. Her profession was well suited to this.

For crissake, Kaiba . . .
[--but no, she's silent as she watches. Only once the video ends does she glance back towards Franklin.]
Were you sent on one of those missions?

[he pulls out his notebook, and opens it to a page full of scribbled notes. If there is an order to it, it's only understandable to him.]
These are the notes I've gathered from the network and from the in person meetings I've been able to attend. There is an obvious common thread, of course.
But it does not explain everything. That's why I need your help.

[he has to start writing at the bottom, but he wouldn't be a good journalist if he wasn't a meticulous note taker. Even if they are only understandable to him.]
Given what we know of this company, does this match any other existing school of thought? Clearly, they consider themselves some sort of scientist.

Then, perhaps we assume they should be taken at their word... Clearly, this is not technology or theory that we are familiar with.
There could be a reason for that.

As loathe as I am to admit it, I know it's a potent force, after forgetting everything that had happened within 24 hours.

What do you mean? What did you forget?

It's only stubbornness that didn't convince me to rip them out and toss them when I'd discovered them the next day.

Did anyone try and convince you of the truth?
