WHO: Minako Arisato, Elizabeth Velveteen, Yu and Souji Narukami, and Akira Kurusu
WHERE: A strange blue door next to the Pizza Port in Tisse
WHEN: October 7th, and throughout the rest of the month
WHAT: Exploring the Velvet Room!
WARNINGS: None foreseen! I'll be making headers, and everyone can make their own top levels over the course of the month under them.
[Whatever you were doing, wherever you are, you might notice that your Velvet Key starts shining. Touch it, and there's a sudden tug, as if an invisible force is guiding it towards something...the lock it opens, perhaps?
Choose to follow where it leads, and you'll soon find you're not alone.]

OCTOBER 7TH
no subject
Hey guys. Fancy meeting you all here.
no subject
This door was shining, so I couldn't not come here.
[ They probably don't even know what he's saying since the Third Eye makes it BRIGHT BLUE as hell. ]
no subject
Elizabeth has exactly none of those, but she's also staring at the door... Ah. ]
How curious that this would be in this world as well... [ ...When did it appear? She's been so busy, she hadn't noticed... Undeniably, though, she'd found herself wandering this way today. How lucky everyone else had decided to show up as well. ] I wonder if Igor is there as well. It'll be quite difficult to explain the situation if he is...
no subject
[A pause.]
Unless he only just recently got back his really long nose.
[That'd be a pretty horrifying body transformation, right up there next to Noah's arm, in her opinion.]
no subject
I... certainly hope he is not here at all, in that case. I can't imagine waking up with an elongated nose.
[ She's only sort of okay with the silver hair and gold eyes thing she has going on now. ]
no subject
[ That is totally what this is about... ]

THE ELEVATOR
no subject
Minako trots forward and, instead of sitting in the guest seat, settles herself on the plush chair where Igor would've sat, grinning.]
Just as comfy as I thought it'd be.
no subject
Once he's done, he sits where the protagonist would. ]
Fancy. [ He likes it. ] Do we press a button for stuff to happen?
no subject
[She laughs as she pulls up the table cloth, searching for anything hidden under it.]
Nothing. Not even any keys for those side doors.
no subject
[ Like they're in a real hotel... with a giant room that acts as an elevator. Crossing his legs, he's trying to figure out how to fuse Personas in here—let him check? By summoning Yoshitsune first, then Satanael.
They both flicker off cause he's waiting for something to happen, like an option. ]
It would be nice if we had an attendant.
[ A nice one, too. ]
no subject
[ ...She did just decide to say that in her best impression of that goblin man that's usually in here, yeah. Still, she's not exactly comfortable with how familiar this place feels to her, and the tenseness of her shoulders betrays that despite her smile. ]
How interesting... An elevator, ever ascending... Doors that don't seem to go anywhere... [ ....... ] The lack of a real master...
[ Elizabeth taps her cheek thoughtfully. ]
If there's no proper master for the room, does that title then fall to the room's attendant...? Should he or she be around, at the very least...

THE LIMOUSINE
no subject
Yu has no memories of the Velvet Room just yet, and even though the space feels familiar in a bone-deep way he couldn't begin to describe once he's in there, it still strikes his surface mind as bizarre beyond belief. Given that it's a limo, there's obviously not room to stand, so find Yu perched cross-legged on the seat across from what would be Igor's usual haunt, glancing around. ]
This is pretty crazy. It's got a sort of eerie charm to it, but...
[ shakes his head slowly. ]
I guess nothing should surprise me anymore.
no subject
It's so much classier than my elevator.
...is that real wine over there?
no subject
I feel so out of place in here.
[ Like if he touches anything, he has to pay for it. ]
no subject
I have no idea. We could open it up and see?
[ Akira, chill out. Yu will shuffle his way over there partially so he can get a better look out the window, but also so he can pat his friend on the shoulder. ]
Hang in there. ... so, what do you guys think is out there? [ gestures at the windows of the limo. ]
no subject
The Velvet Rooms are a space outside of the normal world, as far as we can tell. So maybe the space outside of the Velvet Room is a kind of... [Vague gestures in the air.] Pocket of reality it exists in.

THE PRISON CELL
no subject
akira.
what's wrong with you.
Here's Yu outside the cell standing by Igor's desk and looking like he has no idea what to make of this place. ]
... it's certainly imposing.
no subject
They always make this look so easy in the movies--
no subject
... do we really want to release him, senpai? I mean--
[ look at this CRIMINAL ]
no subject
I don't think you can open the door at all.
[ He does not have fond memories of this place. None at all. ]
no subject
[Still. Fiddling. But she does look at Akira and huffs at him.]
At least give me ten minutes with this before saying something like that. I'm not a master lockpicker, but I'm sure I can figure it out...
[She can always figure something out if she puts her mind to it?!]
