WHO: Kashuu, Shouto, and Yukine.
WHERE: Kashuu's apartment.
WHEN: 9/25, half past fuck o'clock in the morning.
WHAT: a make-up lesson.
WARNINGS: nooooothing?
( as promised, yukine shows up at kashuu's door with shouto in tow at a ridiculous time in the morning to guarentee that there is ample time for them both have a highly valued make-up lesson and get to school on time. well, at least assure that shouto is able to get to school on time. yukine doesn't really care and may not even show up.

Morning! C'mon in. I have tea and stuff if you guys want anything.
[The apartment itself is honestly quite cramped and small, but cozy and clean. It looks like he's probably run through and stacked up all of his most recent sewing projects so they're out of the way, resulting in stacks of fabric here and there, a dress form shoved away into a corner in the living room... There's a kettle on the stove, already heated, and a makeup station set up at the breakfast bar since it has the best lighting and the most counterspace in the apartment.
There's also a black kitten with a little white patch on his forehead that meanders over to sniff out these two new people, clearly intrigued. He's a very friendly fuzzball who loves being pet and held, so he'll take well to any attention thrown his way.]
—That's Poppy, and I'm Kiyomitsu. Kashuu's fine, too.

Shouto's maybe ten percent awake right now, but waking up this early rarely factors into his day. He still managed to wrap up his left eye with bandages but it's a poorer job than he did yesterday.]

Nice to meet you, Shouto. You wanna have a seat over there? [Gesturing toward the chair situation he's got set up!] We can get started as soon as you're ready, but take as much time as you need. I'm not in a hurry and I'll talk to your professors about borrowing you for a runway test for my semester project if they give you any grief, if you're late.
[Since he knows scarring can be a pretty sensitive topic, and always treats it accordingly.
As for Yukine WHAT IS THIS SURPRISE COMPLIMENT, who is this punk!! Kashuu accepts it about as happily as his cat is accepting all of this petting and attention. Expect Poppy to follow at least one of them around the entire time they're here now that he knows they'll dole out the pats...]
Thank yooou! You're too sweet, y'know? [He might be preening a little... And after Poppy makes a little chirpy cat sound, he helpfully adds:] Poppy says thanks, too.

As Poppy gets comfortable in Yukine's arms, he'll make his way over to where Shouto is seated.]
A-ny-way, no need to apologize or anything, y'know? Waking up early has been a habit for ages, so it's no big deal. [And then, a somewhat delicate gesture toward the bandages.] I have a general idea of where to start with concealing, but I'll have some more specific products for you after I see what kind of texture and color we're working with. I can pretty much guarantee there'll be some way to keep it from being noticeable, though.

Mm... I only know a little bit about makeup. [Despite getting covered in it almost on a weekly basis. Listen, it's not part of his job description to understand how to apply makeup.] So this is going to help a lot.

( it's pretty much fact. he's continuing to lavish the cat with affection while kashuu talks, but once he's actually getting into position to begin working, he knows he needs to get up. gingerly, he sets poppy down on the floor before making his way over to kashuu. )

I'll give you as many pointers as I can, in that case. [And then, to Yukine:] And yeah, if he's fine with it, I don't mind. [A little nod! It's best for both of them to know what's what, especially since they're probably going to be diving headfirst into Many Products. He's got a whole basket out and at the ready...]

( for the moment, there is nothing else for yukine to add. he's pretty much just here to watch kashuu get to work and try to absorb as much knowledge as one can from one sitting. while he watches, he also sets out to make two cups of tea. one for himself and another for kashuu.
he holds off on making one for shouto only for the sake of not interrupting. )

[He'll also thank Yukine for the tea. What a kind bean... BUT NOW TO WORK. He starts first by eying the area of skin before rummaging around in the Big Bin of Stuff™ and pulling out a tube.]
I think we can start with this. It's basically like... shaping wax, kinda? People sometimes use it to conceal their eyebrow hair, but it's good for blending raised edges and things like that. We can go in with color corrector and primer after-- Oh! And you're gonna want to moisturize the area a lot, too. If it's too dry, the products'll get kinda flaky.
[Maybe he should... offer to jot this all down on a piece of paper when he's done.]

Thanks! It's yeeears of practice. [Literally... Half on the runway, half on himself.] So don't feel down if it takes you a long time to do it at first, or if it doesn't blend out exactly the way you want. It'll definitely get easier the more you do it, promise, but it can be kinda frustrating when you're starting out.
[Extra for cases like this, in which the makeup is less for aesthetic and more for someone's comfort.]
