As promised, Tatsuma arrives in front of Freshens at noon. His clothes are... Well. That blue hoodie he was given from Retrospec seems to be his favorite thing to wear now, which comes with the side-effect of making him intensely visible just going around town. He wears it under what might have been a lighter blue shirt that is now a soft grey which works, color-wise, which is probably the best an unfashionable nerd like him can really do.

On the bright side, what he lacks in fashion sense he makes up for in excitement. While typically the sort to zone out when nothing in particular needs his attention, he's actually quite alert to his surroundings for once, occasionally peering around to see if Souji's shown up yet.

Sometimes craning his neck. Or standing on his toes. He's never really been on a date before, he can't help it.

[ it's taken a few hours and lots of prodding yu to help him before souji had decided on an outfit, picking out something simple (of course without the blue colour and add a scarf on top everything). he figures he shouldn't go overboard, even if he's actually kind of nervous. he has only gone on one date before and that was because of the blind date event for valentine's day so this is the first real one where he actually asked someone out. it's no wonder he's nervous and that he's getting the dokis because he wants this to go right. ]

[ he arrived just a minute after tatsuma does and he waves when he spots him ]

Hey.

[ walking right up with a smile ]

Well, that's not fair, how could your top is blue?

[ his tone is light and he's clearly joking ]

[And there he is. Tatsuma's clearly pretty happy to spot him, giving a small wave of his own.

Ah... He looks nice. But right, speaking:]

Because Retrospec decided to be nice one day.

[Unlike, you know. Most days.]

I think it was mine before... [Or the other him, or the past him, or whatever that whole thing is about. He's still not sure, and still not even certain which he's hoping for, but either way - semantics can be figured out later. Date time now.]

Where to...?

[Unless he actually means to just spend the day at Freshens. Granted, there are many worse ways to spend a day than with someone as sweet as Souji at a grocery store, but he's pretty sure it's not exactly a hot date spot or anything.]

I was thinking we could go to window shopping, walk around, and then go to a cafe after.

[ well, he says window shopping now but he has every full intention of buying whatever catches tatsuma's eye. it's pretty much a shopping spree right now ]

[Tatsuma gets pretty much the same idea when he mentions it. Dates are still pretty mysterious, but you can't really go wrong with showering the other person in nice things.]

[ he nods and in agreement and let's just say that they walk right over there and it's quick so we can get to the cute stuff ]
