Ann - Cake Run
I'm outside. You ready for cake?

[ so she leaves her dorm and comes down in a pretty casual outfit but--holy what is that car. her parents have fancy vehicles like that but ann wasn't expecting vera to have one!!
...okay, who is she kidding. vera's a heiress, of course she would. still doesn't stop ann from being in awe. ]
...Whoa...!
no subject
Hey Ann. Thanks for letting me pick you up, I've needed some stress relief, so I wanted to take my girl for a drive.
no subject
[ holy shit vera you really are loaded aren't you.... ]
You're really gonna let me ride in this? I mean, my shoes aren't dirty anything, but it feels like I'm gonna ruin it!
no subject
[Unimaginably loaded.]
No, I drove all this way just to make you walk. [She rolls her eyes with a laugh.] Come on, get in.
Pen - Park Ambush
So... what exactly was so important that I needed to come with you this instant?
no subject
We're getting you out of the apartment. And we're going mini-golfing. And if you don't like it, I'll drop you off and let the tomato loose in your apartment. Also Yuffie.

[But seriously, "Frank's Fun Land"? What even is that?]
Fine, I guess I'll play along. Not like I had anything better to do today.
[Other than lie in her bed in the dark. That sounded pretty good.]
no subject
[Don't even pretend. The alraune is actually pretty sweet, all in all. Any destruction is going to be from Vera wigging out.]
And look, if you can't have fun at minigolf, with me...? Then I can let you walk back home, but I paid for 2 people and I don't want to play by myself, and do you really want me golfing alone with Gilgamesh?

[Battle on the Big Bridge would start playing. he would challenge randos to duels.]
It's honestly better this way.
[Pulling into a spot, she turns off the car and hops out.]
It's something Mom and I used to do when she was alive. I like minigolf. It's just golf with a putter.

[Vera unbuckles herself and joins Pen outside of the car.]
He took me with him once, when I was younger. I fell asleep in his golf cart and he never brought me again. [Chuckle.]

Haru - Farmer's Market
It's... a little more hokey than she's used to, usually she stuck to five-star restaurants or let her caretaker worry about getting the food. Still, Haru was beyond excited to show her what she's grown, so she'll suck it up and head her way.]

While it does get lonely in her booth, she's never spent the four hours truly alone. Her friends, both who have the app and those who don't, come by to visit and talk, and there are other people selling homemade jewelry, their cooking, their own harvest, and other items all around her. Still, she does have moments where she's by herself, and she spends that time reading. Once Vera sees her and her booth, Haru appears to be doing that now, and if she reads the cover, she'll see that it's Don Quixote.
Her booth has two long tables with her at the end of them: on one table are baskets of her crops. There's tomatoes, turnips, strawberries, cucumbers, red peppers, carrots, cauliflower, cabbages, onions, potatoes, raspberries, and radishes. In addition, in the middle of the table are the dancing fruits that have been a thing, and they appear to be dancing to country music that's playing from Haru's laptop. At the end of the same table are a few pies: blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, and sweet potato.
On the other table are baskets of the crafts she's queued up for the week. a bundle of paper daisies, paper peonies, and paper roses. There's actual bundles of flowers as well on the other end of the table along with a sign of flowers that she can get by the next week.
Once Haru notices someone stopping by, she looks up, and she gives a smile and a wave while she bookmarks her spot and closes the book.]
Vera! You came!
no subject
I wouldn't miss this for the world.
[She steps around the table, squeezing her friend's hand with a smile.]
But wow. I knew you were selling stuff, but I never expected this. How do you make time for all of this?
no subject
Planning weeks in advance is how. I actually made those paper flowers three weeks ago; they're coated with a sealer to ensure that they last longer, both for myself and for the buyers. Everything else is fresh produce and cooking, of course, but I do have a spreadsheet to determine what to sell which week.

[She's so handy, and her forethought is fantastic. It's a level of small business acumen that Vera has to admit she doesn't have. Oh, um... she should probably let go of her hand.]
You won't mind if I buy a bit of everything, right?
no subject
[That blush that was on her cheeks earlier just seems to increase more from that. While she's had her hand in this kind of thing for a while now, she's been unsure and insecure about the actual business world, which puts a dent in the plans she has for the future. But Vera, someone who actually is in that world, saying something like that... It gives her some hope.
But ah, yes... letting go of that hand. Right.]
U-Um! No, not at all - If you really want everything!
[Sometimes she forgets that some people around her could literally buy out her whole small business here, that's how rich they are.]
no subject
You'll... show me how to care for the live ones, I hope?

Soleil - Dinner Date
So Vera set them up at one of the ritziest restaurants in town, and even picked up a new outfit just for tonight. She'll have shown up about twenty minutes before they agreed to meet to make sure the table was ready before Soleil arrived. So now she'll wait patiently, eyes glued to her phone until her date shows up.]
no subject
It has been a while since Soleil last went to a ritzy restaurant, but it is far from the first time given her parents dragging her to them now and again. She never cared for them, but that is only because she associates them with long, boring dinners with her family where she has to keep quiet. Thankfully, that also means she is already prepared to dress up; the only question is whether to go in a dress or not. Eventually, she settles on this instead. She has her black hair up in a ponytail.
When she gets to the restaurant, she silently sneaks up behind Vera while the girl is focused on her phone. She puts her hands on the girl's shoulders and whispers in her ear. ]
Not fair. How can I pull out your chair for you if you're already sitting?
no subject
S-sorry. [She clears her breath, composing herself before turning to face her.]
I had to make sure things went off without a hitch. I'm not a very patient person, you know.
no subject
[ A solid five minutes early, in fact. She tries to be ten minutes early, but she fretted over what to wear a little more than usual. Her first dates tend to be at coffee shops, after all. She slides into her own seat, getting as good look at Vera now that she isn't looking at her from behind. ]
You look great. White suits you.
no subject
[She tries to brush off the compliment, but it's hard to hide her smile.]
Your outfit is really cute too. A jacket and tie are always a nice touch.
no subject
[ She looks around to get a better look at this place before settling on Vera again. ]
Pretty nice choice for a first date here. I feel like I should be on my best behavior.
