No, I actually wanted to be a cop when I was a kid. My father was on the force, and it was because I tagged along with him at times that I saw the inside of the courthouse and a couple of stations where he worked. He kept hoping I'd change my mind and go into a safer, better paying career but I was stubborn.

[he follows after, listening intently. he pauses a moment, snaps a picture of matt's back heading up towards the doors, and then quickly catches up]

Is he happier you went into law?

I think he would be. He always pushed me to study hard. This job isn't a bad compromise between the studious financially stable life he wanted for me and the fight for justice I wanted to follow. That and I'm not too bad at it or so I've been told. Makes it more fun.

[ He opens one of the many doors into the courthouse lobby for Prompto, shooting him a smile. ]
