After that strange Retrospec post, you may be wondering how to contact this "technician". Luckily, your phone or whatever device you have handy to check the network chooses that exact second to go haywire... Team Daquiri roster: Baren Kumou, Bucky Barnes, Futaba Sakura, Hitori Togusa, Iwatooshi, Izuku MIdoriya, John Steinbeck, Koutarou Takamura, Lalli Hotakainen, Mikleo, Yu Narukami. On whatever device you use to view the retrospec application, you may note the following scrolling on the screen instead of the usual options: ALERT: CRITICAL TIME-SPACE ANOMALY ACTIVE. SEARCHING FOR ADMIN... SEARCHING FOR ADMIN... DESIGNATED ADMIN CANDIDATE: EMPLOYEE #91962 M. MAHONEY PLEASE INPUT AUTHORIZATION CODE. The prompt does not seem to be for you, however, as the text prompts continue to scroll, this time with some input. > ********************** ACCEPT ADMIN STATUS Y/N? > y DESIGNATE PROGRAM TO RUN. It seems like someone is manually picking and choosing from a list of every Retrospec user who didn't disappear into the void, and several names queue up. > initialize support team CONFIRMED. TEAM DESIGNATION? > daquiri CONFIRMED. TEAM DAQUIRI MISSION PARAMETERS? PLEASE BE ADVISED SYSTEM ENERGY LEVELS ARE CRITICALLY LOW. > make contact with sysadmin > contact point entrance 1 > temporary access level 1 granted CONFIRMED. MISSION PARAMETERS SET. TEMPORARY ACCESS LEVEL 1 GRANTED. The screen clears itself, and instead of the familiar retrospec logo, there is simply TEAM DAQUIRI as a designation. the application will refuse to show anything other than a map, with one point highlighted in red. it is, of course, up to team members to decide whether or not they approach the access point. Team Daquiri's access point is in the Retrospec Basement. Team members will find they can access the Retrospec building and utilize the elevator to reach the Basement level so long as they approach it in a group of two or more team members. Only Team Daquiri team members can enter the Retrospec building at all at this time. Please see the Objective 1 toplevel for more information on what they can see when they enter the door! This is the Team Daquiri Event Log. You are free to toplevel and thread as you choose on this log, but only team members may utilize this log. Important links to mod toplevels are: Mod Questions & Participation Reporting. Yu has a golf club with him. He's got it resting on his shoulder like you would a sword. He also has, uh, this .... this thing? It's riding on his other shoulder because it's pretty small. It isn't making any noise, but its eyes are kinda glancing everywhere - separately from each other - and its mouth just kinda. Undulates? It's ... it's pretty weird.
As introductions happen, he'll give his, like. Pretty short and sweet and stoic. He also addresses everyone, instead of just Baren. ]
I'm Yu. You may have met my twin, Souji. [ Delivers this without any particular inflection. Then he'll gesture to the creature on his shoulder. ] This is Bean.
[ A breath. ]
I have the ability to heal, so if you run into trouble, come talk to me and I'll help you take care of it. Remember to stick together and stay safe, everyone.

"Yu," matching his quiet tone. "Hitori Togusa, I'm pretty sure we've spoken before. Both your uncles are fine. I got word about Ardyn, Grell got him home all right. Fynn and I got out of the convention center together. We split up after that, but I just heard from him."

He'll glance over when his name is called. He recognizes this man, though only just barely; they've spoken on the network once or twice that he can recall. He ... doesn't seem to know what to say to those reassurances, though. He'll swallow, and then nod somewhat stiffly. ]
Thank you. I was able to talk to uncle-- that is, Izunia-san, before coming here. I'm glad to hear Dr. Sutcliffe and Flynn are alright, too.
[ He's closer to Ardyn than he is to Flynn, and doesn't really know how to address the other man. Better just keep it simple. ]

"I'm all right. To be honest, a lot of that is thanks to Fynn. How about yourself?"

I'm glad. That you're alright, and that he was able to help you.
[ Yu will sigh, briefly stretching his arms over his head.
There's ... there's a lot going on. He knows he's not okay. He can't stop thinking about where Souji and Yosuke are, and any of the rest of his friends who have disappeared, and plus--
he keeps seeing her, the girl--
No, never mind that. He can't dwell on her. They have work to do and he can't afford to break down. Yu lets his arms drop again and smiles tiredly. ]
I'm worried about the people who have disappeared, but all we can do for them right now is stay safe and figure out what's going on.

"You- you're right." A little guiltily there.
"I..." Togusa looks up at Yu, and then sighs. "Geez, I was meaning to find a time to talk to you and ask. I saw what- your brother can do. The thing he can summon."
He is trying to keep his voice gentle. "You mentioned you could heal people, is it through something similar like that?"

And then he mentions Souji, easily his least favorite topic right now. Yu sighs through his nose, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. However, he manages to hold Togusa's gaze. ]
Yeah. It's exactly like that. We have the same powers.

Togusa looks around the room, and shakes his head. "I don't know what they want out of us, but I'll treat this like an investigation. Anything you see that might be important, let everyone know, okay?"

[ Said rather neutrally. He'll sigh through his nose, briefly debating whether or not he wants to pursue the topic about Ardyn before letting it go. His uncle's business is his own, and they have entirely separate sets of powers, anyway. ]
We'll find out. I plan to approach it the same way, so don't worry, I will.
