northpaws if you'd like to do some bingo stuff (that we haven't already planned beforehand) or if you'd like any other threads! This is just a catch-all post for all the logs/threads I might have, without spamming the comm and to keep all of Souji's bingo threads in one post.

I believe so.

[ At least what it seems to be called, but unless he gets more memories, he can't be entirely too sure. ]

... Then I crush the card to summon it.

[ He steps forward once, trying to put a little more distance between him and Ros. He takes another deep breath and then suddenly, he crushes the card within his hand. As he does so, a gust of wind comes up from underneath him and the blue flames that once surrounded the card now surrounds him, coming up high and past his head. Just like the smaller flames that didn't harm Ros before, these won't hurt her either (in case she stands too close) but they disappear much quicker. As Mada fades in and stands in front of Souji, floating slightly above him, the flames disappear and only the Persona and Souji remain. ]

[She inhales sharply once more, shock making her pause for a few long seconds. It's nothing like what she'd imagined. It's nothing like anything she's ever seen before, and instinct would have her back away, but Rosalind grits her teeth, determined to not be a coward about this. Indeed: after a moment she steps forward, reaching to try and touch the Persona.]

Good lord . . . do you feel a mental connection with him? Can you hear his thoughts, anything like that?

[ When she reaches out to touch it, it'll feel solid, as if a real living creature. Souji will move slightly to the side so she can try to interact with it some more. ]

Mm, it's... a part of me, so its thoughts are mine. I can't really explain it, but it's almost like an extension of myself. It won't do anything unless I command it otherwise.

[ He says as if it's a way to reassure her. In fact, Mada lowers itself from the air and kneels down on one leg for Ros to take a closer look at. It's still a giant monster that definitely towers over both of them even when it's on a single knee. Also, watch out for all that fire it has. Unlike the blue flames from earlier, Mada's fire will definitely hurt someone. ]

I see . . .

[If there's any hesitance in her now, her expression doesn't show it. Rosalind peers up at the creature, her eyes darting about it for a long few seconds. He's bloody enormous, and it's hard not to feel trepidation, even if she logically knows it shan't hurt her.]

I know you set your uncle's scarf on fire-- and well done, by the way, he's far too many of the things as it is. How did that happen, exactly? And di-- shit!

[Guess who touched the fire?]

[ Aaaaand that gets him to immediately call back Mada. Sorry Ros, he's just going to make it fade away because he does not want it around to burn her again. He'll also try to see if he can take her hand to examine the burn. ]

I'm sorry-- How bad is it?

[He gets her hand, all right, but only because Rosalind's attention had immediately snapped to where Mada had just been.]

Hang on, bring him back!

[It's not the worst burn in the world. Certainly nothing she'll need to see a doctor about. But the skin is red and shiny, and if he touches it, she'll hiss in pain.]

[ He tries not to touch it, just examining it closely and frowning. ]

It hurt you and we need to treat your hand.

[ That means Mada is now bye bye ]

I'm perfectly all right, Souji. I'll put a compress on it when I get home. This is hardly the worst injury I've endured in the field.

No, but you shouldn't wait to treat it later. We can always come back to this at another date.

[ He'd feel really bad if she just stood around with a burn. If she's really insistent on not leaving though, he might just have to resort to using his newest Persona to do some healing... so two-for-one bonus night?? ]

Souji.

[This time there's a firm note in her voice, something befitting a professor.]

I'm more than aware of what my body can and cannot handle. A burn shan't hinder me, and I'm not going to stop studying this simply because I was too careless for a moment.

[ Souji should have figured that would be her response. She did seem like the particularly stubborn woman so he can only let out a frustrated sigh. He continues to hold onto her hand and looks downwards at it, silent for a long time, but then he speaks. ]

... Can you at least let me heal it then?

Ah.

[A beat, and then, without a hint of humor:]

It runs in the family, does it?

[Her fingers flex, but she doesn't pull away.]

Will it hurt you?

No, it's... different. Here.

[ While still holding onto Ros' hand with one of his own, his free hand comes up in front of him. It holds the same blue tarot card from earlier (just suddenly appearing in his hand rather than being summoned) and instead of crushing it, he spins it in the air instead, spinning once before disappearing in blue flames. He then turns his hands upright and just like the summoning process with Mada, the same gust of wind, flames, and card appears. However, this time when Souji crushes the card, it's not Mada that appears, but a ridiculously oversized dragon. ]

[ ... yep. It's good thing this place is super deserted and a mix between the woods and the beach because wtf ]

[She realizes something else is going to emerge, of course. She braces herself for it. But she'd thought it would be something like Mada, large but not unbearably so. Instead--]

Ah--

[Just a brief snatch of sound, nothing more, because the second after it slips past her lips Rosalind has clasped her free hand over her mouth. Her eyes are still wide in shock, but she refuses to scream.]

[ Souji isn't taken back by her reaction and instead, he continues to focus on her hand as if there isn't a dragon just chilling in the sky. He closes his eyes and takes a few steady breaths. Followed by a short silence, Kohryu just nods its head and a very warm flow of energy will flow through Ros. It's like putting on a sweater straight out of the dryer or curling up under a warm blanket. It definitely feels comforting and nice because that's what complete healing spells will do. Her burn will be healed up and hey, if she has any other cuts or scrapes then bam, free healing. ]

... How's that?

. . . fine.

[Her voice is tight, her muscles held tensely, but she manages to tear her eyes away from the dragon as heat floods through her. Removing her hand from her mouth, she glances down, focusing on her hand. There's nothing reddened there anymore; the skin is once again pale, showing no evidence of a burn.]

That's, ah, that's quite a difference from your uncle's abilities.

It's certainly a little more flashy than h--

[ He tries to crack a small joke to lighten the mood but he sways and just catches himself to stay up on his feet. He puts a hand to his head and just rests it there, taking slow breaths. So... this is one of the reasons why Souji was hesitant on summoning Kohryu and why he hasn't told Ros about it yet. Using any of its skills takes a major drain on him and while he's gotten used to Mada after almost two months of training, he just got Kohryu so his capacity of using it isn't very large to begin with. ]

[In an instant her hands are on his forearms, gripping him firmly to try and keep him upright as he sways. He doesn't look sick, but god only knows what kind of strain this puts him under.]

What's wrong?

[God, but Ardyn will never forgive her if her experiments have ended with Souji hurt or sick. Rosalind's voice is intent, but not panicked; indeed, she sounds more in control than ever.]

[ Her grip helps him stay steady and he appreciates it. He doesn't answer her right away and he considers lying to her, telling him that everything is fine but then decides against it. She'd probably figure it out and it's

I'm just feeling a little lightheaded. It happens now and then but it'll pass.

[ Which really is the truth. He just needs to recover a bit. ]

It happens when you use these Personas?

[She still isn't letting go, but though her eyes are darting around his face, the question isn't urgent. He seems to be all right.]

[ Why do I keep getting my tags cut off like this, why is this happening but anyway, Kohryu disappears just like Mada did earlier, leaving the two alone. ]

Sometimes. More often when I use their skills. It's... mentally draining.

And physically, it seems. Have you ever fainted from it?

[ Ah... Souji shuffles awkwardly when she asks that. ]

... Yeah, a few times. That was when I was getting used to Mada. Luckily, no one tried to rob me while I was out.

[ Passing out in an alleyway is definitely dangerous... ]

Good god, Souji . . .

[At least faint in the privacy of your own home-- although, actually, given the size of those Personas, maybe not.]

Do you think there are more?

[ He nods. ]

I remember having at least one more different Persona so I wouldn't be surprised if I got... more. I wish I knew how Retrospec was doing all this, though. It's not like mailing a physical item to me or anything like that.
