[ There's just a silence as Shin stared at the pot. Then the sign, then at Souji.

And then he stared at the pot again. There's a few more seconds of silence as Shin pondered it and just... asked Souji the golden question. ]

Souji.

What's in the pot?

[ Souji has the straightest face right now because even if the smell is killing him right now, he can deadpan through a lot of things (not as well as Yu tho). ]

Everything in my fridge.

[ Then why does it smell like death... ]

...Mom would kill you if she found out you did this, you know?

[ ...yeah Shin's mom really doesn't like people wasting food for things like this. And yes, Souji's considered a family friend so. ]

[ It's so nice for Shin to consider Souji part of his family. It was nice to... actually experience what an actual happy and loving family is like. ]

But it's not wasting food. I just combined everything.

[impulsives]

[ He looks at the pot again. Hrk, did that thing just move??? Nah, it must be his imagination, right?

Also... the smell... why... ]

Are you. Are you going to finish it if other people don't?

[ This just may be even worse than Mystery Food X... ]

Of course. If I don't, then I'll be wasting food and your mom would definitely kill me then.

[impulsives]

...If you're going to die, we might as well do it together, Souji Narukami.

[ What is with this serious tone. No, really, what is up with this serious tone!? ]

[ It's okay because Souji will reply with an equally serious tone. ]

Are you sure, Shin Asuka? This is nothing to be joking about. You may actually truly die here.

[impulsives]

A friend wouldn't let his friend suffer alone, so I'm really serious.

[ He's going to just continue this with. ]

I'm willing to bet my life for this.

[ Souji nods and begins to fill up two bowls for them (yes, he even brought bowls and spoons in his bag because he's prepared). ]

You're a brave man. I admire your courage but also your loyalty to your friends.

[ Souji hands him a bowl. As Shin takes it, he will find that it is... strangely hot despite probably being off the stove for a while now and wow, hm, just look at all those chunks in the "stew". This looks terrible... ]

Let's take the first bite together then.

[impulsives]

[ As much as Shin wants to say that he's regretting this already, Shin has committed to this and therefore won't be giving up. Though, this bowl has probably committed a sin towards physics as it is.

HOW THE FUCK IS IT STILL HOT DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE BOWL IS SLIGHTLY COOL TO THE TOUCH. ]

...Alright.

[ With that, Shin's going to grab the spoon, scoop some of the... 'chunks' over.

And... takes a bite.

The taste couldn't be described. Multiple horrible scent assaults his nostril the moment it touched his tongue, it burned, but it's not hot. It's freezing, but it's not cold. This is an affront to human beings as a whole. ]

NGHOOOOOOOOH!


[ Well. Uh, that's a dying teen on the floor right there.


Ah. There's a bright light... Shin can see it, the end of the tunnel. ]

[ As Shin takes a bite of death, Souji does as well and as soon as the Mystery Food X 2.0 touches his tongue, he immediately falls to the floor. He falls silently like a gallant warrior who was hit by an arrow and everything seems to slow down until he's flat on the ground. The spoon with the half-eaten danger, the harbringer of death, lays on the floor next to him, innocently as if it did not murder two teenagers. ]

[ It takes a few seconds before Souji can gather the strength to reach out with his arm to the vicinity of where Shin last was. ]

S... Shin. Where are you...? I... I can't see anything.

[impulsives]

F-forget me, Souji, save yourself...

[ Fortunately, at least Shin can see. Kind of. Either ways, he's just... Still face-down on the ground. Kind of. Uh, trying to stave off the awful taste from progressing any further because HOO BOY that sure was something. ]

[tarotcards]

[ Souji can't see anything but just darkness. He doesn't know if he's awake or if he's dreaming. Everything feels dull but at the same time, everything also feels so painfully strong. His heightened senses makes it hard to hard to tell which is right, where he is, why the world can't stop spinning... ]

No, we must stick together... We'll get out of this...!

[ He finally finds Shin and just... smacks his hand around to try and find Shin's hand that he can grab onto ]

[impulsives]

[ He can feel the his thigh being smacked around by Souji's hand and he inches a bit further so that his hand can at least be grabbed by Souji.

Shin's vision is slightly better but oh boy his stomach has seen better days, that's... that's really great. Not really. But damn if just one spoonful is enough to cause them to be like this... ]

Damn it, Souji... stop being such a hero or something.

[tarotcards]

[ Maybe they should use this as a new weapon against their enemies... just mix it in with their normal food. ]

Someone has to be...

[ Shin can be the sad tragic one while Souji is the cool one that the audience loves more, but Souji eventually gathers all of his willpower to try and sit up. He nearly hurls from the motion sickness of just sitting up (his head is spinning, get him off this ride) and he tries to hold tightly onto Shin's hand. ]

Here... we must get up.

[impulsives]

[ That... that sounds like a good idea...

Either ways, Shin's going to sit up too, and at least he doesn't have that bad of a motion sickness, but boy his tongue still can feel the awful taste... He tightens his grip around Souji's hand to let him know that he's here... ]

Y-yeah...

[ Souji leans his body against the bench, using it as support as he tries to get his bearings. He continues to tightly hold onto Shin's hand (insert gay seal). ]
