Intermezzo [Open]
WHO: Luke Triton and OPEN
WHERE: Throughout Recolle
WHEN: March!
WHAT: Ruffians, interviews, and other things.
WARNINGS: Reckless violin endangerment
News at 7;
[ Luke Triton had a tape recorder in his breast pocket, and a notepad and pen in hand as he wandered the city streets: a short British boy in shorts and a little blue cap. He had the air of someone trying to be as close to a professional journalist as possible. ]
Pardon me, do you have a spare moment? I'm looking for an interview subject.
Plucking great;
[ Luke was walking home carefully, looking both ways before entering the intersection. It was a bit of a bother to walk home, truth be told; the instrument case at his side made negotiating crowds a bit difficult. But at least he didn't play the bass.
Just then, a small crowd of boys ran by and jostled him; the case fell from his hands and onto the sidewalk with a sickening skidding noise. ]
Oh no, my violin!
[ Before he could get to it, however, one of the taller boys grabbed its handle and hoisted it over his head. ]
Give that back, you!
Wildcard;
(A placeholder for whatever and whenever!)

Sure, but what kind of interview are you doing?
no subject
no subject
[That and he is almost at the university anyways.]
no subject
[ He looked down at his pad. ]
Do you know the story of how and why your ancestors came to America?
no subject
That might be a difficult one... To be honest, I don't know about my family's history, but will my answer about my parents came from different countries count?
no subject
[ Luke's answer to the same question would no doubt be a short one, since it'd been less than a year since they'd arrived in the first place. ]
no subject
Okay. Well, what's the second question then?
no subject
no subject
I mean that my father originally from Paris while my mother originally from Tokyo, Japan. But I heard they met each other online, then met each other in person right here in Recolle.
no subject
What made them decide to meet here?
[ (Maybe the contents of their mash notes.) ]
no subject
no subject
So they met up here, and then they decided to move off to where they'd first met, eh?
no subject
no subject
[ Well, it had worked out well for them, anyway. ]
All right, let's see. Are there any funny stories people tell about you, from when you were growing up?
no subject
[Though he can't say it's either funny or embarrassing...]
no subject
[ No, that was probably too cliched. ]
no subject
[Now that he remembered, he can admit that it has a lot of energy.]
no subject
[ But dogs were dogs, of course. One could hardly fault them for following their animal instincts. ]
What ended up happening to him?
no subject
[At least his friend is still dedicating his dog's legacy by taking care of the puppies she left.]
no subject
[ That was the thing about dogs... ]
It sounds like you're fond of animals... do you have any yourself?
no subject
I don't have any, but I do take care of some animals as part of my volunteer work at the animal shelter. Plus, I get to take care of some of the injured ones who were formerly abused or hurt from any accidents.
no subject
[ He should probably visit the shelter more often. ]

[ Although being a vet sounded more fun. Working with cute animals all day... ]
