WHAT: Ann's organizing a spa party for all of her friends, free of charge! Come here and relax friends

[ whether you met ann from the start of her adventures on retrospec or during the event, if ann considers you to be someone she likes, she'll send you an invitation to join her at the spa near the university for some relaxation via text sometime during the week! (assume there were no misfires.) it's been a long, long month and ann was originally intending on going by herself, but she wants to share today with her friends so. here we are.

the spa offers various services: manicures/pedicures, massages, hair and skin care; a sauna, pool, and jacuzzi; even a chocolate bath for those of you who feel daring? anyway this is pretty much a luxury spa and it's one of the fanciest ones in recolle, so go knock yourselves out!

the reservations have been made for the entire day, so characters are free to come and go as they please.

there will be a dessert party after at the crepe place ann frequents! basically we're all just crashing the joint and taking up all the tables awww yeah. ]

[ ann will be waiting outside at the entrance to greet anyone from the invite list who comes by! ann gives a wave in greeting, smile brighter than the sun. it's clear she's excited and she's practically bouncing on her toes. ]

Hey, thanks for coming! This is gonna be the best day ever!

JACUZZI
[ the first thing ann will hit up once everyone's arrived is the...jacuzzi? interesting how she doesn't go to the massages first, which is typical. she's going to be in there for quite a while, wearing her swimsuit. it seems like she's enjoying herself...

maybe a little too much. actually, it looks like she might be falling asleep in there. uh....leave her be? or wake her up? ]

[ so, both you and ann have decided to get a manicure! her station is right next to yours, and it looks like she's opting for some pink nail polish. while she's getting her nails filed, she's going to turn and start some chatter: ]

[ she gives the other girl a quick hug before holding the door open for her. ]

Yeah? I mean, it's a total relaxation day! I've been waiting for this for weeks now. So I guess you could say I'm pretty excited!

[ And it's returned as she does so, though it's a bit tight, given Émilie's strength. ]

Ah, I've been looking forwards to this... I would have went myself but I needed to just, you know... rest.

I. CHOCOLATE BATH/JACUZZI/POOL

[Minako is in a cute pink ruffled swimsuit...but you wouldn't know that, considering she's neck-high up in chocolate right now.]

I didn't even look at the benefits. [She smiles wryly.] I just saw 'chocolate' and jumped straight in.

[She will also be at the jacuzzi, happily sitting right on top of the bubble jet in the middle. Maybe tell her to move? Otherwise she'll be at the poolside, splashing her feet a little.]

II. CREPES

[What a good way to end the day. Minako is spoiling herself today, so she gets, count 'em, two crepes that are made to look like animals. She's currently trying to get a good picture for Instagram, and then after that, she'll nudge you a bit to get your attention.]

[Ah, spa day! She's glad the info-sharing meeting didn't overlap with her reservation, that would've been really sad...but she's here now, and she is going to spoil the heck out of...well, herself.

Approaching the front door, Minako smiles and waves back when she sees someone waving at the entrance, just because she's that kind of person. And when the familiar twin-tailed girl starts greeting her, she laughs a bit.]

I think so too. I'm so ready to relax. It's nice to see you again, do you work here?

[She's assuming so, with a greeting like that.]

I'm sure I won't be the only one to come join you.

[ Otherwise she'll have words with a few people. ]

[Cleo has no idea how spas work, honestly. She's never been to one before, and has never had much of any desire to. But now that Ann's invited her, she wants to spend time with her friends... So now she's standing out front, trying to work up the nerve to go inside. Help her.]

[Jacuzzi.]

[Cleo can't actually swim, and doesn't even own a swimsuit. So she had to buy one just for this, having fortunately thought to look up what exactly one does at a spa. Massages seem to be not her speed, or rather, she's too high-strung to relax for them. So instead, she's wearing a backless one-piece to make room for her tail, and she intends to just soak in the hot water for a while.

... That said, she may be starting to treat this as an endurance challenge. How long can she endure the hot water? Place your bets now.]

... I don't understand.

[Yeah, that's all you're getting from her as she just. Stares. At the chocolate bath. What's even the point of this? What is it for? This feels both unsanitary and bizarre? It's like she just broke in confusion, trying to wrap her brain around what she's looking at.]

[ here's someone ann hasn't spoken to in a while! ] Minako, right? [ that greeting was meant to be for one of her friends but she'll take it! ]

I don't, actually. I just kinda reserved a bunch of slots for some friends.

[ she looks a little sheepish. ] But working here sounds nice, huh?

It does. Think of all the discounts you could get for all the expensive treatments they offer here...! But I already have a pretty nice job at the Confectionary anyways. And I'm strictly here for rest and relaxation.

[ No need to, because she's pretty sure she hasn't met Cleo before, but she guesses she must be on Retrospec given that she is somewhat... feline. Émilie, though, is a minor celebrity. In any case, she'll go right ahead and join her once she tells her it's fine. ]

[Her smile gets a little sheepish. She's not sure Ann knows about Ryoji's passing-- not even sure that Ann knew Ryoji at all-- but she promised herself she would leave all of that back at her apartment today.]

I just figured I deserved to spoil myself a bit, after last month. And before school really kicks off, you know? [She tilts her head.] But you're here with friends, right? I shouldn't keep you.

[And yet she recognizes some of the faces already inside and waiting!]

But would you mind if I hung out a bit with you and the others even so? Spa days are more fun with more people.

[ ann definitely knows about ryoji's passing but hasn't realized how close he and minako were, so she doesn't bring it up. especially since minako's come here to relax, not to stress. ]
