Near-death experiences are all the rage in Recollé as of late. Why not celebrate surviving while you're still alive? That's Fynn's logic in all this. Besides, he thought it would be nice to throw a small cookout for everyone after all this hardship. They've certainly earned a reprieve from all things grim and gloomy. Now that the city is free of monsters again, they can go back to being somewhat normal again. That's a good thing, right? Fynn perceives it that way even though there's no going back to 'normal' ever again.
"Huh?!" Fynn nearly chokes on his beer once he overheard Togusa talking to the cat. He peeks over at his colleague with a sheepish grin as he salutes the man with his bottle. "I guess the cat is out of the bag, huh?" Fynn admits as he approaches. He honestly forgot all about that prank and accidentally invited Togusa without even thinking about it. Is it too late for him to proclaim his innocence? Fynn's going to try anyway.
