[Dante hasn't really taken the time to think about how much of an RPG their lives have turned into--honestly, after killing the yeti he's almost been trying not to think too hard about what happened in the mines. It's not the sheer inanity of going toe-to-toe with a yeti, though that was certainly unbelievable enough. It's how cleanly his blade had sliced through the monster's skull, how quickly the life had faded from it. How easy it is to kill, in a way completely different from his memories somehow.
That all being said, he can't exactly refuse to solve the next puzzle in front of them, nor would he want to! In spite of it dogging him, Dante knows how to compartmentalize. As soon as their boats had shown something worth exploring, he'd jumped out of his, kicking off of the side so he could zip over the water to the small shack. But as it turns out, he's not the only one with that idea...]
