[Juzo's been staring at his card for a minute or two. Use your powers around someone new, it says. Sure, it's no big deal. Every other cop in comics has a superpower, heck, even teens have them.

This isn't a comic book, though. But it's not going to stop him from getting that damned bingo. It's time to make a virtue of necessity. To do this, however, he needs to buy twenty donuts first. With that done, he's going to look out for people who are clearly trying to get a bingo themselves.]

Hey. You can watch me eat these in one minute and I'll help you out with yours. Deal?

[He sounds...almost nice?!]

[Those memories he's gonna get better be good because he's going to call a stranger right here and right now. That's not all, however&Mdash;the plan is to kill two birds with one stone and not only call a stranger, but also sing them a ballad. Honestly, he wants to give himself a pat on the back for this great idea. But first things first, so he inserts a random number and greets whoever's on the other side:]

[Organizing the whole thing is a pain in the ass and Juzo can't even be sure if anybody comes—he hasn't done much advertising, after all. Well, it's kind of understandable as he doesn't want a horde of strangers walking around his flat. At least he has bought some snacks and if nobody comes, he'll eat everything alone.

What a sad man.

Instead of waiting for people to come at home, he'll be wandering near the building pretending that he's just out for a walk or something. Totally not waiting.

[Being a host is difficult, man. That's why he's not organizing, well, anything—it's not his fault that it's just too draining. He didn't even get to play much, so after everything's over and with the winner announced, he looks longingly at the toy.]

[Crap, some people are coming this way. There goes his plan to teach her a lesson; on top of that, Juzo needs to calm down immediately. His hands, curled into fists and held up making him look like he's about to throw a punch just a moment ago, are now in his pockets.]

[Full sentences are beyond his reach at present. A bottle of water isn't, thankfully—he pulls one out from the bag he had the donuts in and takes greedy gulps like his life depended on it.

Holy shit...nice teamwork we have here. Those numbers, you know, the Icelandic ones... [Okay, so it's still too difficult to finish a sentence, but after a deep breath, Juzo adds:] Cool power. And you're probably the only one who has it around the city.

[While Juzo knows how stupid the whole thing was, he's definitely going to feel like an idiot for rest of the day, at least. Singing a goddamn ballad to a stranger over the phone...thanks Retrospec.]

This is an actual task? [He raises his eyebrows, a bit confused.] Weird. Jim was running out of ideas, I guess...

Speaking of blackmail photos, a feeling of uneasiness rolls down Juzo's spine. It's been literally months and he hasn't found out the culprit behind his pageant photos yet. Not that he's been trying hard, though...

With Togusa's approval of the idea, Juzo can proceed with the preparations. Before he grabs the gloves and headgear himself, he pulls out two bottles of water. They may come in handy, even though the match isn't particularly long.

Smiling cheekily, Juzo adjusts the headgear. "Okay, but aside from pranks...what weird shit have you done this week? Or do you want to tell me after I win?"

Togusa lets out a laugh. "Oh, man." No question or objection to the idea that Juzo is going to win, but he has to think about this week. He nods gratefully as he takes the water bottle.

"Building a sand castle with Izunia's brother and our med examiner, you know Sutcliffe? That wins it. Helped out Kihara with one of those, too, then got to take a video of my dog wrecking it." He can't help but smile at the memory. "Play a game of cops and robbers, I got out of that one with water guns. Despite the damn chocobos? It's been a fun week."

"How about you? You seem to be playing along to a point, at least?"

[Lucy kept staring at him, like she was daring him to throw a punch. The sound of distant voices and the flickering circles of flashlights weren't enough to make her move either.

But most of what Juzo says rolls off her shoulders.

Except her last name.

Lucy's scowl deepens.]

Maybe, maybe not. Usually tournaments have at least eight, right? Don't think it'd be much more than that and who knows, maybe someone can knock out another weirdo prompt of this while they're waiting for their turn or something.

I was just wondering because I don't have any amazing powers either. If you can use it, maybe I can use a more mundane superpower, too.

[She visibly relaxes once he pulls out some water. Excellent, that leaves her plenty of time to gush while he recovers!]

No one has ever said that Icelandic was cool before-- useful, when Ainsley happened to have letters in Icelandic for her to read, but it always seemed so... unnecessary.]

For a moment there, Juzo seems rather pensive while looking on the red boxing gloves.

"You got the sand castle one too? Making adults play in the sand...what a classy bunch, those retrospec people. I got free baked goods out of this stupid game, so that's it. Oh, and this of course."

He's not going to mention singing a ballad because well. This is a thing he wants to forget, actually.

[Ah...he's blushing now. Her support is way beyond his expectations. The worst part is that he can't quite cover his face while drinking water and when he's done it's already too late to hide anything.]

[Looking away, his gaze turns to Tuuri once again after her question reaches his ears. Then, his eyebrows go high up as he's clearly surprised.]

Yeah, I think so. If that idiot Jim will try to pull off some shit and turn the language of the app to Icelandic, everyone will want your help. [That's a pretty extreme example perhaps, but who knows!!] It sucks you don't have anybody to talk to in Icelandic, though.
