[They've been going in circles for hours now, and Sora kind of feels like it's his fault. He was supposed to keep them going straight forward, and he couldn't even get that right!
But, the compass needle had been pointing straight the entire time, no matter how far they'd gone, but still they were going in circles. Was the compass broken? Or was it Sora's sense of direction that was broken?
Not to mention, it was much harder to read a compass and map when it's dark and all you have is a flashlight. He kind of wishes he had one of those headlamp light things.
The impassable wall of trees is almost a relief, since at least now they've hit something different, and he doesn't have to navigate anymore.]
