She noticed but didn't mention the accent-- she had one too, though it was subtle and Tuuri thought it was more noticeable than it was, so she didn't want to pry until she got a better sense of how Chloe felt about hers.

Chloe might have been able to pull that question off subtly, but Tuuri wasn't nearly so careful in her reply. Her entire face lit up and she clasped her hands together. "Yes! Oh, good, you're one of them too. I only remembered them recently, but I definitely remember them."

She was a lot more relaxed once that was established-- rampaging chocobos were a lot easier to deal with when someone else acknowledged that they shouldn't exist in the first place.

"As in, I didn't think anything was strange on Founder's Day. I'm still a little upset about that."
