Have I asked what you're planning on majoring in before?

[ Every time college comes up, people turn the question back on him, which is always awkward because he doesn't really know, he just wants to go in undeclared and see what's out there. Off the top of his head, though, he lists out some of the courses he'd been interested in, before all this happened and college plans were put on the back burner. ]

I remember looking at the course descriptions for intro to middle eastern history, film studies, oceanography, maybe a foreign language. Russian? French?

[ these are all electives, but look. physics and biology didn't look as interesting. ]
