Blueprints?

[ He's only ever seen blueprints in movies, blue paper with white lines so fine and detailed ones eyes gloss over them save for the outline telling of what the design is of. ]

Not of the top of my head, no... What is it of? A building? Weapon? It might be easier to find somebody with knowledge of those, and ask from there.
