I think it's a mistake to think that we can just focus on this life and go around undisturbed by the memories. I also think it's a mistake to decide that the other life is the 'real' one and that it will totally usurp the one we have. The more probable outcome is some kind of amalgamation. It takes deliberately suppressing one or the other.

My priority is the people I care about.
