She's... is this the zone? Is she in some kind of flow state right now? Her eye flits to the shadows, looking for more creatures to emerge, and as soon as one starts playing at the fringes of her vision she's on top of it, slicing down and driving it back away. Nothing is going to stop the two of them from doing what they came here to do.

Her heart, if it still beat within her chest, would be racing right now. It seems to be okay. It seems like when she kills these things, they don't kill back. They don't take more of her away. She can't calm down, but she can keep driving the shadows back. Being the light of the breaking of day or some overly poetic shit like that that Anna herself has never really been able to encapsulate.

The point is that she's defending Pen. She's got this. Nobody else gets hurt on her watch, nobody dies for her, nothing else happens to the people she's supposed to be protecting. She's got this.
