Togusa's head stays low, but he reaches out with one hand, blindly, making a gripping motion towards Shuji's direction. He needs something to hold on to, perhaps literally.
He needs to think this through, he can find a different way, one that doesn't risk himself, even though this very creature is trying to urge him over that line, itself. Does it know that it will defeat him? Or will it try to urge on any destructive urge that he has, even if that urging leads to its own end?
