Oho! I was only fooling you! But the increased tail wagging behind her says she’s pleased, tip held high and nearly curving as she takes the remaining treats with delight. Dear man, dear child, you will be blessed today. She even gets to enjoy pets, yes!! She listens as a person would, allowing a hand to slide across the fur on her head with ease; soft, warm, and whiter than the snow around them.

If anything, to begin their journey, she gives an affirming ruff, lips puffing out as she does (not quite a bark, those are loud), but an immediate answer to his question all the same. She takes the lead in front of them in a bouncing trot, looking over her shoulder and awaiting for him. For something, at least.
