Togusa will back off of any teasing. He watches Malik as he speaks, and he nods slowly. Malik is one of the real reasons that he is doing this. Of anyone, he needs to be able to make this decision.

"If they can parse the soul energy out at all, then I think they should be able to wipe it all out." He gestures to the creatures.

"This- might not work, but I think it's our best bet. If I start acting strange.." He hesitates. "It's more important that I still get down the mountain, that this program gets back to Zee. I can trust you to do that."
