[Oh, excellent.

Machine gun fire has a wider, faster spread but it's not nearly as damaging as he'd like it to be; because he's just kind of like this, he'll be using that more or less to draw aggro - get the attention of the other two emerging from the walls, keep them busy coming after him instead of destroying the organs. He knows he can take multiple, he's remembered fighting and killing several things at once on several occasions, and he keeps moving back and away from them as they skitter forward, only stopping when he finds one of the walls with his back.

That's when he pulls the assault shotgun out, smaller-calibre ammunition be damned.

The recoil doesn't seem to be fazing him any, and the gun has a lot of knockback; even if it doesn't kill them in one go, it's doing a grand job of knocking them to the floor. They do get up faster than he can reload, because the shotgun's a bit awkward like that, but that's fine - that's what kicking them in the face is for, and his strength is good and he's further fortified by the damn river earlier and basically it'll take him a moment to settle in, but he's having a really good time with them.]

Any more of these at once and I may have a problem, but this - [have you ever kicked something in the neck so hard you kill it, because that's kind of an alarming experience but at the same time at least one of them is down and that's what matters] - is actually proving enjoyable.
