Tatsuo tries to hold back a laugh. Because Togusa sounds just like
one of his students having a bad day. He looks over at his friend, unable
to hold back a grin.
"I'm still amazed you didn't bust out the four-letter words while you were
wading through that river. Stronger men have sworn over less."
Tatsuo used some rather colorful language himself to get across. Not very
loud, but it was verbalized.
There's a part of him that really does hope Togusa teaches Isamu how to
flip the bird. The sight of a compact car-sized robot giving the world
around him the middle finger would be to funny to stand.
